Clough - Abair

Felecia L. Clough of Lyndonville and Michael P. Abair of East Longmeadow, Mass., were united in marriage Nov. 22, 2003, at Barre Congregational Church.
The Rev. Steven Winkler officiated the 2 p.m., double-ring ceremony. Organist was Lorna Fogg, aunt of the bride.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white A-line gown with chiffon overlay and a chapel-length veil. The gown also featured a sweetheart neckline, beaded bodice and court train line. She carried a bouquet of silk flowers, arranged by Joan LaPlant, friend of the bride.
Petrina Clough, sister of the bride, and Helen Couture, friend of the couple, served as the maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Cassandra Clough, sister of the bride; Margaret Ann Abair, sister of the groom; and Micaela Lynch, friend of the couple. Flower girls were Brianna Gingue and Riley Knowles. Attendants wore navy blue chiffon dresses with embroidered empire waistlines, scoop necklines, long capelet sleeves and A-line skirts.
Best men were Gregory MaKara and Michael Ekster, friend of the groom. Ushers were Brian Clough, brother of the bride; and Brian LaPierre and David Manning, friends of the groom. Curtis Gingue was the ring bearer.
A reception was held at the Capitol Plaza in Montpelier. The four-tiered, vanilla sponge cake, decorated with yellow lilies and daisies, featured summer lemon mousseline filling and Tahitian vanilla frosting.
The bride is the daughter of David R. and Eva Clough of Essex, Vt. She is a 1996 graduate of Essex High School and a 2000 graduate of Lyndon State College. She is employed with the Caledonia Central Supervisory Union, Barnet and Walden preschools.
The groom is the son of Philip and Angela Abair of East Longmeadow. He is a 1995 graduate of East Longmeadow High School, and a 1999 graduate of Lyndon State College. He is employed with Meteorlogix.
Estridge - Samuels

Juliet Estridge of Winchester, Mass., and Benjamin Samuels of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, were united in marriage Sunday, July 7, 2002, at Lake Seymour in Morgan.
The noon, double-ring ceremony was officiated by Rabbi Mark Newton. The couple was married under a huppa (traditional Jewish canopy) built by the bride's mother and decorated with dendrobium orchids and freesia.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless white gown and carried a bouquet of dendrobium orchids and lilies.
The wedding and reception took place by the lake at the groom's family's camp.
Following a wedding trip to Prince Edward Island, Canada, the couple reside in Manhattan, New York City, N.Y.
The bride is the daughter of David and Marjorie Estridge of Winchester. She received a bachelor of arts degree from Hamilton College and a master of business administration degree from Columbia Business School in 1998. She is employed as a research analyst with Morgan Stanley in New York.
The groom is the son of Kalman Samuels of Montreal. He received a bachelor of arts degree from McGill University in 1991 and a master of business administration degree from Columbia Business School in 1998. He is employed as a vice president in Global Markets with Merrill Lynch in New York, N.Y.
Reiner - Sullivan

Denise Reiner of Danville and Michael Sullivan of St. Johnsbury were united in marriage Feb. 6, 2003, on the beach in the Bahamas.
The barefoot, sunset wedding was a four-ring ceremony performed by the Rev. Melvin Grant.
The bride wore a sleeveless, square-neck cream gown adorned with pearls and embroidery with a full tulle skirt and a short train. She wore white orchids and pink roses in her hair.
Following their wedding trip to Exumas, the couple reside in St. Johnsbury. Their children are Kathleen and Jessica Sullivan and Erin, Michael and Emma Reiner, all of Danville.
The bride is the granddaughter of Ruth Chandler of Peacham. She holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master of science degree in CIMS.
The groom is the son of Alice Sullivan of St. Johnsbury. He is a graduate of Vermont Technical College and is employed by Citizens Utilities in Newport.
Anderson - Desrochers

Tammy Anderson and Joe Desrochers were united in marriage Sept. 7, 2002, in Lunenburg.
The outdoor ceremony was held at the vacation home of the couple's friends, Brian Navin and his fiancee Bernice.
The bride was given in marriage by her father and her 7-year-old son, Jeremiah.
The mother of the bride served as matron of honor, and Lisa White, aunt of the bride, was a bridesmaid.
The father of the groom served as best man, and Brian Navin was a groomsman.
Following the reception, also held at the Navin home, the couple traveled to Lake George, N.Y., for their honeymoon.
The bride is the daughter of Don and Kathy Anderson of Gilman.
The groom is the son of Jay Desrochers of Dalton, N.H., and Diane Veilleux of Lyman, N.H.
Lafferty - Borie

Jessica Browne Lafferty and Patrick Kenneth Borie were united in marriage Sept. 7, 2002, in a Quaker ceremony, under the care of the Plainfield Friends Meeting at the home of the bride's parents.
Following the ceremony, a reception was also held at the Lafferty home.
The bride is the daughter of E. Bruce and Rebecca Lafferty of Peacham. She is a 1996 graduate of St. Johnsbury Academy and a 2000 graduate of the Univeristy of Vermont.
The groom is the son of Jean-Paul and Mary Kay Borie of Marseilles, France. He is a 1995 graduate of Lycee de Provence and a 1999 graduate of Champlain College.
The couple will reside in Raleigh, N.C., where they are both employed.
Rounds - Roberts

Billy Jo Rounds of East Burke and Jeffrey A. Roberts of Barnet were united in marriage Oct. 25, 2003. The Rev. John Sanderson performed the double-ring ceremony at the West Barnet Church.
The ceremony was shared with the couple's immediate family, and a reception followed at Warner's Gallery in Wells River.
The bride is the daughter of Stanley Rounds of Northfield, Vt., and Patsy Murray of East Ryegate. She teaches first grade at the Sutton School.
The groom is the son of Maurice and Susan Roberts of West Barnet. He is employed at Cornell Plumbing and Heating Inc. in East Burke.
The couple reside in East Burke.

The bride is the daughter of Karin St. Peter of Lancaster, N.H. and the late Richard St. Peter. The groom is the son of Don and Sue D'Ercole of Gorham, N.H.
The couple reside in Littleton.

Tamra Smith and Timothy Montgomery, both of Chelsea, Mich., were united in marriage Sept. 27, 2003, at St. Mary Church in Chelsea.
The bride was given away by her father at the 2 p.m. ceremony, which was officiated by Deacon Richard Shaneyfelt.
Laura Zahn, friend of the bride, served as matron of honor. Other attendants included Rachel Bauman, Shelly Morris, Jenna Sparaco and Stacy Miller, all friends of the bride. Elizabeth Sparaco and Lily Bowen were the flower girls.
Owen Montgomery, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Jake Simpson and Jeremy Zahn, friends of the groom; Nathan Smith, brother of the bride; and Sean Montgomery, cousin of the groom. Ushers were "T" Morris, Grant Bollinger, Jeff Greer and Joe Meunier. Everett Bowen was the ring bearer.
A reception was held at UA190 - IBEW 252, LLC, Ann Arbor, Mich.
Following a wedding trip to Gattlinburg and Nashville, Tenn., the couple reside in Chelsea.
The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Angela Smith of Chelsea. She is employed by Chelsea Village Flowers.
The groom is the son of B. Douglas and Cecile Montgomery of Lyndonville. He is employed by Allied Automotive Group.
Brown - Thompson

Jen Brown and Dan Thompson, both of Lyndonville, were united in marriage Aug. 10, 2002, at an outdoor ceremony beside their pond in St. Johnsbury
The Rev. Bill Cotte officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride, accompanied by her father, walked down an aisle of fresh daisies. She wore an ivory, crepe sleeveless dress and carried a bouquet of daisies.
Attending the couple were their children. Elizabeth Sanderson played "Here Comes the Bride" on her saxophone, and read a special poem to the couple; Autumn Thompson sang "What a Wonderful World"; Emily Sanderson served as flower girl; Lane Sanderson carried the wedding rings; and Zach Thompson led the guests in The Lord's Prayer.
A reception was held at the Caledonia County Fairgrounds, which was decorated with balloons, fresh wild flowers and a handmade Double Irish Chain quilt, made by the Kirby Quilters.
Following a wedding trip to Plum Island, Mass., the couple reside in Lyndonville until their home in St. Johnsbury is completed.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Anne Brown of Lyndonville. She is a 2002 graduate of Lyndon State College, is a certified personal trainer and is employed by the Upward Bound program at LSC.
The groom is the son of Otis and Linda Thompson of Lyndonville. He is a graduate of Vermont Technical College and is the owner of Dan Thompson Construction.
DelaBruere - Swartwood

Pastor David Swartwood, father of the groom, officiated the double-ring ceremony. The couple honeymooned in Montreal, Quebec.
The bride is the daughter of Roland and Tammy DelaBruere of Island Pond. She is a graduate of the Union Baptist Christian School in St. Johnsbury and is employed at Rivermont School in Lynchburg, Va.
The groom is the son of Pastor David and Susan Swartwood of Horseheads. He is a graduate of Elmira Christian Academy and is employed by Presbyterian Homes and Family Services in Lynchburg.
