Copeland, Folger marry June 12

ADA — Heather Copeland, Ada, and Nate Folger, Fittstown, were united in marriage June 12, 2004, at Trinity Baptist Church. The Rev. Tony Folger officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Debbie Copeland, Ada, and the granddaughter of Martha Baker and Etta Barrett, both of Ada.

The bridegroom is the son of Tony and Regina Folger, Fittstown, and the grandson of Billie Leewright, Holdenville, and Jim Folger, Ada.

The bride was given in marriage by her mother.

Katy Copeland, sister of the bride, Ada served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jami Correll, Ada, Rachel Hall, Stonewall, and Mandy Ryan, Fittstown.

Sam Bryant, Fittstown, served as best man. Groomsmen were Lance Tatum, Ada, Matt Folger, brother of the bridegroom, Muskogee, and Derek Hayes, Ada.

Other wedding attendants were ushers Russell Brown, Quinton Blevins, both of Ada, and Patrick Blevens; candlelighters Danyell Harris, Fittstown, Ashely Bynum and Amber Ward, both of Stonewall; ringbearer Austin Vasques, Ada; and flowergirls Sara Morris, Yukon, and Hanah Dykstra, Knoxville, Ind., both cousins of the bridegroom.

A reception was held at the church following the ceremony. Reception assistants included Joy Baker, aunt of the bride, Ada, Jeanette Vangundy, Ada, Tonya Morris, Yukon, and Terry Brown, Bethany, all aunts of the bridegroom.

Following a wedding trip to the Bahamas, the couple has made their home in Ada.
Schreiber, Moon wed

ADA — Kimberly April Schreiber and Jon Todd Moon, both of Ada, were united in marriage May 22, 2004, at First United Methodist Church. Dr. George Warren officiated the 6:30 p.m. ceremony and Rosiland Purdy served as organist.

The bride is the daughter of Joy and Gene Schreiber, Antlers, and the granddaughter of Georgia and Eugene Schreiber, Lake City, Fla., and Elinor and Carver Hutchinson, Chiefland, Fla.

The bridegroom is the son of Barbara and Jon Moon, Ada, and the grandson of Mary and Robert Fleske, Oklahoma City, and Charlsa Moon, Ada.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.Serving as matron of honor was Courtney Ranallo, Prague. Bridemaids were Christi Crabtree, sister of the bridegroom, Ada, Crystal Del Torto, Marietta, Tabatha LeForce, Bethel, Amber Gilbert, Ada, Mellissa Matthews, Durant, Karen Lawrence, cousin of the bride, Tampa, Fla., and Julie Hofestede, cousin of the bride, Largo, Fla.

Jay Thompson, Denver, Colo., and Tanner Landrum, Ada, both served as best man. Groomsmen were Blake Crabtree, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, Doug Dixon, both of Ada, Brock McKnight, Durant, Jordan Bombier, Grand Prairie, Alberta, Canada, Russell Huff, Bartlesville, Michael Nimmo, Fayetteville, Ark., and Chuck Siess, Duncan.

Other attendants included ushers James Schreiber, brother of the bride, and Michael Risor, both of Antlers; flower girls Marleigh and Mayme McClure, Ada; and ring bearers Carter and Cole Crabtree, nephews of the bridegroom, Ada.

A reception, hosted by the parents of the bride and bridegroom, was held at Oak Hill Golf and Country Club.

Following a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple has made their home in Ada.

Becerra to wed Moss in California ceremony

TURLOCK, Calif. — Sarah Becerra, Turlock, and Joshua Moss, Nashville, Tenn., will unite in marriage Sept. 3, 2004, at Turlock. Ray Moss will officiate the ceremony.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of George and Cheryl Becerra, Turlock. A 2000 graduate of Turlock High School, she is currently employed by the family business, The Party Connection.

The bridegroom-elect is the son of Ray and Sharon Moss, Memphis, Tenn., the grandson of Joyce Moore, Oklahoma City, and the late Morris Moss, and the great-grandson of Ruby Holkum, Oklahoma City, and the late Jim Holkum. He is a 1997 graduate of Donelson Christian Academy and served in the United States Marine Corps. He is currently employed at The Party Connection.

The couple plans to make their home in Turlock.

Jackson, Anderson to exchange vows

ADA — Jayce Michele Jackson and Standle Allen Anderson Jr., both of Ada, will unite in marriage July 24, 2004, at Ada Church of the Nazarene. The Rev. Stephen Nation will officiate the 7 p.m. ceremony.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Richard and Sherry Jackson, Ada. A 2002 graduate of Byng High School, she is employed at First National Bank and Trust Company of Ada as a note teller.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Standle and Christine Anderson, Ada. A 2000 graduate of Latta High School, he is employed with the city of Ada, working in line maintenance.

McBroom, Truett to unite in marriage

ADA — Tracy McBroom and Kevin Truett, both of Ada, will exchange wedding vows July 24, 2004, at the Sulphur home of the bridegroom’s parents. Terry Neil will officiate the 10:30 a.m. ceremony.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Gary and Ronda McBroom, Mount Pleasant, Texas, and the granddaughter of Shirley Spruell, Oklahoma City, and the late N.B. Spruell, and Ann McBroom, Ada, and the late Craig McBroom. A graduate of Ada High School in 1998, she holds a bachelor’s degree in HPER education from East Central University and is currently employed at Willard Elementary School.

The bridegroom-elect is the son of Max and Brenda McCurry, Sulphur, and the grandson of Denalda Schultz, Ada, and the late E.C. Schultz. He is a graduate of Sulphur High School and obtained a bachelor’s degree in HPER education from ECU in 2004.

Chandler, Kinstner to marry July 31 at Ada

ADA — Deanna Dawn Chandler and J.L. Kinstner, both of Ada, will become man and wife July 31, 2004, at the Ada Arts and Heritage Center. The Rev. Jamie Perry will officiate the 2 p.m. ceremony.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of the late James Edward and Betty Anne Chandler. She is a graduate of Roff High School.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Robert K. and Erma Lee Kinstner, Ada. He is a graduate of Treasure Lake High School.

The couple attends Byng Free Will Baptist Church.

Walbrick, Fuller unite in marriage June 5

NORMAN — Tisha Kay Walbrick and Phillip Fuller, both of Norman, exchanged wedding vows June 5, 2004, at Trinity Baptist Church, Ada. Todd Thomsen officiated the 3 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Hank and Lafton Walbrick, Ada, and the granddaughter of Aubrey and Rose Bain, Ada, and Jack and Neva Walbrick, Lawton.

The bridegroom is the son of Eddy and Vicki Fuller, Kingston, and the grandson of Harrel and Billie Fuller, Kingston.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Jenni Sliger, sister of the bridegroom, Okmulgee, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kari Short and Lori Poe, both of Ada.

Best man was Rock Rodebush, Ada, and groomsmen were Adam Savage, Norman, and Preston O’Brien, Ada.

Other ceremony attendants included ushers Bo Walbrick, brother of the bride, Ada, Kyle Walbrick, cousin of the bride, Lawton, Jordan Junk, cousin of the bride, Edmond, and Cody Fuller, cousin of the bridegroom, Maysville; flowergirl Carlie Cumpton, Houston, Texas; ring bearer, Mitchell Ross, Ada; and candlelighters Madison Junk, cousin of the bride, Edmond, Allyn Ross and Tori Ross, both of Ada.

Following the ceremony, a reception, hosted by the parents of the bride, was held at the East Central University Ballroom.

The couple has made their home in Norman following a wedding trip to Big Cedar Lodge in Missouri.

Cravey, Hankins wed June 5 in Ada

The bride is the daughter of Weldon and Nancy Cravey, Ada, Okla.

The bridegroom is the son of Susan and Edd Schneider and Jim and Valerie Hankins, all of Palestine.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

The maid of honor was Tiffany Cravey, sister of the bride, Ada. Bridesmaids were Candice Bishop, San Antonio, Rachel Streckert, Tyler, and sister of the bridegroom Jennifer Hankins, Palestine.

Brad Rozman, Los Angeles, Calif., served as best man. Groomsmen were Brian Matthews, Clearwater, James Mariam, Columbia, Mo., and Chris Linck, Longview.

Providing music was organist Paul Rowe, Ada, pianist Tanner Abel, Houston, guitarist Amine Quourzal, Malaga, Spain; and guitarist and soloist Phil Stagg, Waco.

A reception, hosted by the parents of the bride, was held in the atrium of First Baptist Church. House party members included Katherine Turner, stepsister of bridegroom, Mary Beth Talley, Lauren Butler, Ashley Gordon, Katie Littell and Lisa Smith.

Following a wedding trip to Kananaskis Village, Alberta, Canada, the couple will live in Waco where the bride is employed by the Waco Foundation and the bridegroom is employed by Highland Baptist Church, Waco.
Hayton, Tidwell marry

The bride is the daughter of Debbie and David Hayton, Billings, and the granddaughter of Glenda and Corky Noteware, Garber, Betty Hayton, Billings, and the late Billy Hayton.

The bridegroom is the son of Madonna and Bubba Tidwell, Roff, and the grandson of Alvin Tidwell, Roff, and the late Colleene Tidwell and Charles Whittington, Fittstown, and the late Fern Whittington.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Jamie Hayton, sister of the bride, Billings, served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Kendrick, sister of the bride, Stillwater, Haley Hayton, sister of the bride, Billings, Ramee Staerkel, Perry, and Katie Reim, Billings.

A reception, hosted by the parents of the bride, was held at the Best Western Hotel atrium in Stillwater. Reception attendants included Lynde Combrink, aunt of the bride, Enid, Carrie Boyer, Billings, and Annie Coble, Ardmore.

Following a wedding trip to Cozumel, Mexico, the couple has made their home in Amber.

McBROOM, Truett to unite in marriage

A 1996 graduate of Wynnewood High School, she completed a bachelor’s degree in business/office technology at East Central University in December 2000 and a master’s degree in human resource administration at ECU in 2004. She is employed at Valley View Regional Hospital as an executive assistant.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Larry Walden, Tucson, Ariz., and Teresa Miller, Greenwood, Ark. A May 2000 graduate from Vanoss High School, he is employed at C&S Heating and Air, Norman, as a HVAC technician.
