Humphrey, Dixon to wed June 5 in Ada
OKLAHOMA CITY — Stephanie Humphrey and Darren Dixon, both of Oklahoma City, will be united in marriage June 5, 2004, at First Methodist Church, Ada. Dr. Rusty Fuller will officiate the 6 p.m. ceremony.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Steve and Janet Humphrey, Ada. A 1999 graduate of Ada High School, she attended East Central University. She is a master teacher at First Christian Child Care Center, Oklahoma City, and is working on an associate's degree in child development.
The bridegroom-elect is the son of Jim and June Dixon, Yukon. A 1998 graduate of Yukon High School, he attended ECU and is expecting to graduate from the University of Central Oklahoma in the fall with a degree in business administration and finance. He is a member of Phi Kappa Alpha fraternity and is employed at BancFirst, Oklahoma City.

Poe, O’Brien to exchange vows

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Scott and Shana Poe and Chris and Loretta Feiler, all of Ada. She is set to graduate with distinction from the University of Oklahoma in May with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She has been a member of the OU Pom Squad for four years, serving as captain for the 2003-04 school year. She is also a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority and is a dance instructor at the Pointe Performing Arts Center, Moore.
The bridegroom-elect is the son of Michael and Nancy O’Brien, Ada. He is also set to graduate from OU in May with a bachelor’s degree in aviation management and a minor in business. The daughter of Wyman and Terry Ford, Ada, the bride-to-be attended Ada High School for two years and graduated from the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics in 1995. She obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1999 and a law degree from Southern Methodist University in 2002. She is currently an attorney at Doerner, Saunders, Daniel and Anderson, L.L.P., in Tulsa.
The bridegroom-elect is the son of Donald and Margaret Richer, Albuquerque, N.M. A 1990 graduate of Eldorado High School, he obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Tulsa in 1995 and a law degree from the University of Kansas in 2002. He is currently an attorney at Hall, Estill, Hardwick, Gable, Golden and Nelson, P.C., in Tulsa.
Jody Ardrey, brother of the bridegroom, Ada, served as best man. Groomsmen included Casey Marshall, Clay Herrin, brother of the bride, Stonewall, and Zac Simpson, Stillwater.
Ushers were Chance Shires, cousin of the bride, Allen, and Tyler Herrin, cousin of the bride, Byng. Other attendants included flower girl, Talyn Herrin, cousin of the bride, Byng; ring bearer, Tyler Hatfield, Chicago, Ill.; and guestbook attendants, Kourtney Harris, Kaitlinn Wright and Tenley Hatfield.
A reception was held at the church following the ceremony. Reception assistants included Ashley Turpin, Chrissa Turpin, both cousins of the bridegroom, Ada, and Trisha Herrin, cousin of the bride, Byng.
Following the ceremony, the couple took a wedding trip to Oasis Akumal in the Mayan Riviera. The Ardreys have made their home in Ada.
