She is a 1996 graduate of Aiken High School and a 2000 summa cum laude graduate of the University of South Carolina Aiken with a bachelor of science degree in business management. She is employed by BMW Manufacturing Corporation in Greenville.
The bridegroom-elect is a maternal grandson of Louise Baxter of Aurora and Calvin Baxter of Arkansas City, Kan., and a paternal grandson of the late J.W. and Ernestine White of Aurora.
He is a 1992 graduate of Aurora High School and a 1996 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Missouri-Rolla with a bachelor of science degree in nuclear engineering. He is also a 1998 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a master of science degree in nuclear engineering. He is employed by Alliance Medical Physics of Atlanta.
Parker
Earl and Shirley Parker of Aiken celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 26, 2005. They were married on Feb. 26, 1955, at First Baptist Church of Aiken. The bride's sister, Frances Jenkins, was matron of honor and their friend, R.J. Vero, was the best man.
Their family honored them with an anniversary dinner with family and friends on Feb. 25, 2005.
Earl and Shirley have two daughters, Sharon Carter of Aiken and Rhonda Denton of Rock Hill and two sons, Chris and Gregg Parker of Aiken. They have eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
