The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald D. Lewellyn of Aiken. She is a granddaughter of Mrs. L. E. Granger of Little Rock, Ark. and the late Mr. Granger, and Mrs. Joseph E. Lewellyn of Heber Springs, Ark. and the late Mr. Lewellyn.

The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Roy Young Sr. of Aiken. He is a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Earle Ouzts Jr. of Columbia and the late Marjorie Lannin Ouzts, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Furman Young of Ware Shoals.

Grace Denning Robinson of Columbia was the maid of honor. Laura Thomason Johnson of Columbia was the matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Allyson Reynolds Fisher of Annapolis, Md., Kristen Ashley Meyer of Hoboken, N.J., and Lydia English Morris of Philadelphia, Pa., all friends of the bride.

Thomas Roy Young Sr. of Aiken was his son's best man.

Groomsmen were Thomas Roy Young Jr. of Aiken, brother of the groom; Bradley Claude Crain of Aiken; David Bradley Gulley of Greenville; and John Thomas Molony of Macon, Ga.

A reception followed the ceremony at H 'n D Stables.

The bride is a graduate of Oldfields School in Glencoe, Md. She is a graduate of Roanoke College with a degree in theater. She is a realtor with Eulalie Salley & Company.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Aiken High School. He is a graduate of Clemson University with a B.S. and M.B.A. in management. He is employed by the Tom Young Allstate Insurance Agency.

The couple will reside in Aiken.

Wadhawan – Townsend

Martha Halley Townsend and Samir Wadhawan, both of New York City, were married Saturday, April 23, 2005, in St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church in Aiken. The bride was given in marriage by her father. The Rev. Wm. Thomas Fitzgerald officiated.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis A. Townsend Jr. of Aiken. She is a granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Grey Boatwright and the late Mr. and Mrs. Francis A. Townsend.

The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Satish Chander Wadhawan of Pittsburgh, Pa. He is a grandson of Shanta Bajaj and the late O.P. Bajaj and the late S.D. Rai and Rani Wadhawan.

Kathryn Townsend Larlee of Aiken was the matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Anamika Wadhawan of Marlboro, Mass., sister of the groom; Colleen Marie Quinn of New York City, friend of the bride; and Elizabeth Anne Livingston of Atlanta, friend of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Halley Townsend of Virginia Beach, Va., Pinckney Townsend of Aiken and Wallace Townsend of Aiken, all nieces of the bride.

Jeremy Ungilsechal Hanson of London, England, friend of the groom, was the best man.

Groomsmen were Neeraj Kumar Bansal of New York City, Hadrian Hyginus D'Sooza of Minneapolis, Minn., Peter Albert Olanday of Morrisville, Pa., Michael Wayne Vailliancourt of Marlboro, Mass., and Christopher Douglas Phipps of Brooklyn, N.Y., all friends of the groom.

Following a reception in the Palmetto Golf Club the couple left for a wedding trip to Puerto Rico.

They will reside in New York City.

The bride is a graduate of Aiken High School. She is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in financial management. She is employed by Marsh, USA.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Taylor Alderdice High School. He is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in information systems. He is employed by Marsh, USA.

Weld – Ryan

Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Addison Weld Jr. of Sunset Beach, N.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Susan Ann Weld of Aiken, to Thomas Henry Ryan III of Aiken, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Henry Ryan Jr. The wedding is planned for July 16, 2005, at Millbrook Baptist Church.

The bride-elect is a maternal granddaughter of the late Mary Alice Swick and the late Harold Earnest Swick, and a paternal granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Addison Weld.

She is a 1995 graduate of Fort Mill High School. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina Aiken with degrees in exercise science and nursing. She is employed by MCG as a registered nurse in labor and delivery.

The bridegroom-elect is a maternal grandson of Martha Johnson of Edgefield and the late Hubert Clifton Johnson, and a paternal grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Henry Ryan.

He is a 1995 graduate of Lexington High School. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina Aiken with a degree in secondary education.

He is employed by Aiken County School District as the head basketball coach at Aiken High School.

Smalls — Thomas

Khristine Thomas and Selvin Smalls Jr., both of Williston, were married April 22, 2005, in the Victorian Wedding Chapel. The bride was given in marriage by her father. The Rev. Jerry Tindall officiated.

The bride is a daughter of Maurice and Karla White of Williston.

The bridegroom is a son of Selvin and Cathy Smalls of Williston.

Stevens – Wilson

Jennifer Ellen Grace Wilson of Aiken and Samuel Calvin Stevens III of Edgefield were married April 30, 2005, in Aiken's First Baptist Church. The bride was given in marriage by her father. The Rev. Dr. Fred W. Andrea III and Deacon John Klein officiated.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Wilson of Aiken. She is a granddaughter of Ellen Sillasen of Aiken and the late Donald B. Sillasen and Mary H. Wilson and the late Woodrow Wilson.

The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Calvin Stevens Jr. of Edgefield. He is a grandson of Rose Russo of Edgefield and the late Vincent C. Russo and the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Calvin Stevens Sr.

Maryann Burgess of Aiken was the matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Leigh Stevens of Edgefield, sister of the groom; Terri Simpkins of Aiken, sister of the groom; Lisa Adams of Aiken, cousin of the bride; and Leigh Ann Watts of Edgefield, friend of the bride.

The bride is a daughter of Doris and Thomas E. Glover Jr. of Aiken. She is a granddaughter of Geraldine Craven of Cameron and Nancy and Thomas Glover Sr. of Aiken.

The bridegroom is a son of Dianne and Gene Cook of North Augusta and Sammie and Hobert Poplin of Beech Island. He is a grandson of Jewel Walling of Orangeburg.

Erica Glover of Aiken, cousin of the bride, was the maid of honor.

Shane Poplin of Anniston, Ala., son of the groom, and Bryan Palmer of Windsor, nephew of the bride, were the ring bearers.

Taylor Glover of Montmorenci, niece of the bride, was the flower girl.

Following a reception in the American Legion cabin in Warrenville, the couple left for a wedding trip to the lake in Petersburg, Ga.

They will reside in Warrenville.

Ready — Jordan
