Bernice Pritchett Murray of Forsyth died Friday, Jan. 21, 2005 in a local healthcare facility.

Rev. John R. Pennington died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005. Funeral services are planned for Wednesday, Jan. 26 at 2 p.m

John Clifford Tarpley of Barnesville died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005.

Mary Ella Ogletree Turner, 97, of Barnesville died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005 in a local healthcare facility.

Linda Diane “Ann” Edge-Woods, 50, of Barnesville died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005,

Doris Louise Butler Ethridge, 86, of Barnesville died Monday, Jan. 31, 2005, in a Griffin healthcare facility.

Alan Hawkins of Lamar County died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005 at his residence.

Barbara Blackmon Littleton of Barnesville died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2005 in a Griffin healthcare facility.

I.J. Williams, 51, of Barnesville died Friday, Feb. 4, 2005 at his residence.

John Wayne “Buddy” Guy, 51, of Hwy. 19 North, Thomaston, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005 at Upson Regional Medical Center from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Services are set for Tuesday, March 1, at 2 p.m. at Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home. Rev. Joe Allen will officiate. Burial will be in Neal Baptist Church Cemetery in Pike County.

Anne Jenkins Harshbarger of Hampton died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2005, in an Atlanta hospital. Memorial services were private. Williams Funeral Home in Barnesville had charge of arrangements.

Elsie O’Neal Knowles, 97, of Fincherville Rd., Jackson, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005 at the Heritage Inn in Barnesville. Services are set for Tuesday, March 1 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Dr. Tom Drake will officiate. Interment will be in Stark United Methodist Church Cemetery. Those wishing can make contributions to Stark United Methodist Church.

Violet Atkinson Wilson, 81, of Milner, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005 at Embracing Hospice in Jonesboro. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 1 in the Milner Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. John Dahlman will officiate. Williams Funeral Home in Barnesville has charge of arrangements.

Stephanie Farren Bing of The Rock died Friday, Aug. 26 as a result of an automobile accident. Services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 30 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Rev. Jerry Stewart and Tim Martin will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Griffin.

Marjorie Thurza Tubbs Cooper, 80, of Barnesville died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2005, at her residence. Services were held Friday, Aug. 26, at Williams Funeral Home in Barnesville. Rev. Garth Forster officiated. Burial was private. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church building fund, 200 Zebulon St., Barnesville, 30204.

Linda Ann Gordy Denton of Barnesville died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005 at her residence. Services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 30 at 3 p.m. in The First Assembly of God Church. Revs. Mic Savage and Tim Calvert will officiate. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Williams Funeral Home in Barnesville had charge of arrangements.

Nira Odessa Pulliam Dunn, 71, of Lamar County, died Sunday, Aug. 28 in a Barnesville healthcare facility. Services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 31 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Rev. Franklin Gibson will officiate. Interment will be in New Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Woodbury. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Aug. 30 from 7-9 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home.

Hazel Lucille Bynum Jones, 71, of Barnesville died Monday, Aug. 22, 2005, in a Griffin health care facility. Services were private. Williams Funeral Home in Barnesville had charge of arrangements.

William Edwin “Bill” Lively, 47, of Culloden died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2005. Services were held Thursday, Aug. 25, at Ramah Primitive Baptist Church. Rabbi Greg Hershberg officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Alex Moye, 73, of Fayetteville died Monday, Aug. 22, 2005. Services were held Thursday, Aug. 25, at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. Revs. Dee Shellnut and Royeese Stowe officiated. Burial was in Camp Memorial Park. Carl J. Mowell and Son funeral Home in Fayetteville had charge of arrangements.

James Crawford, 65, died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2005. Services were held Thursday, Nov. 10, at Rehoboth Deliverance Center Church of God in Christ in Barnesville. Elder David West officiated. Burial was in O’Neal Cemetery.

Eldee Sullivan Koelsche died Monday, Nov. 21, 2005. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 23 at Fredonia Congregational Church Cemetery in Lamar County. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.

Robert Lee Worthy, 74, died Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005. Services were held Monday, Nov. 14, at Shaw Temple True Church of God in Christ in Barnesville. Elder Harrell P. Taylor officiated. Burial was in O’Neal's Cemetery. Bentley and Sons Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
