WILLISTON — Eldridge Ray Runnels, 65, a retired auto mechanic, died Saturday July 1, 2000.
A native of Ocala, he was a lifelong resident of Williston.
Mr. Runnels was Baptist and a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

LAKE WALES — Mamie Tucker Williams, 90, died July, 3, 2000.
She worked in the fruit-packing department for Maxcy Corp. and Ben Hill Griffin Corp. and in the lunchroom at Frostproof Elementary School.
A native of Hosford, she moved to Lake Wales from Omega, Ga. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Frostproof Church of God and a former Sunday school teacher at the first Assembly of God Church in Frostproof.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton T. Williams Sr.
Survivors include her daughter, Joyce Williams Cannon, Ocala; sons, Floyd Donald Williams, Ocala and Clayton T. Williams Jr., Frostproof; sisters, Lonie E. Dixon and Ruby Beasley, both of Frostproof; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

CITRA — Wilbur Sharp Carr, 77, a retired salesman, died Tuesday, July 4, 2000, at the Veterans Administration Hospital.
A native of Middleton, Ohio, he moved here from Detroit in 1982. Mr. Carr was a member of Citra United Methodist Church, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Citra Post, and the Liyons Club of Reddick. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the World War II and the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Carr, Citra; sons, Barry Morgan, Columbus, Ohio and Randy Morgan, Citra; daughter, Jennifer Noel, Louisville, Ky.; sister, Catherine Oliver, Middleton; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
