A native of Downingtown, Pa., she moved here from Malvern, Pa., 13 years ago. Mrs. Mannix was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church.

OCALA — Sarah "Sally" Eloise Moody, 85, a homemaker, died Saturday, July 22, 2000, at Sunbridge of Ocala.
A native of Clay County, Ala., she moved here from Talladega County, Ala., in 1927. Mrs. Moody was a member of Central Church of Christ.
Mrs. Moody was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond L. Moody.

OCALA — Walter L. Ford Jr., 76, a retired clerk supervisor with the U.S. Postal Service, died Thursday, July 20, 2000, at his residence.
A native of New York, he moved to Florida 15 years ago. Mr. Ford was a member of Ocala Word of Faith Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

OCALA — James E. "Jim" Britt, 72, a retired U.S. Army sergeant major, died Sunday, July 23, 2000, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Wayne County, N.C., he moved here from Clarks Hill, S.C. three years ago. Mr. Britt was a member of the American Legion in Atlanta and the Angela S. Santos Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4781. He was a veteran of World War II and was Protestant.
Survivors include his wife, Noreen A. Britt, Ocala; daughters, Edith T. Brock, Lundington, Mich. and Kathy J. Bell, Appling, Ga.; son, James E. Britt Jr., Battle Creek, Mich.; sisters, Betty E. A native of New York City, she moved here from Murrells Inlet, S.C. three years ago. Mrs. Butt was a graduate of Kathrine Gibbs School, New York; attended New York University; and attended the College of the Virgin Islands. She was a former assistant to the editor of the General Electric newsletter, The Monogram.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Julia Andrade.

A native of Bunnell, he moved here from Flagler County in 1944. Mr. Deen was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church of Ocala and a member of Greenville Aviation Association. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a civilian flight instructor for the Air Force.
