PALATKA — Charles Wendell Burkhalter, 49, a retired metal contractor, died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2000, at Putnam Community Medical Center.
A native of Tattnall County, Ga., he moved here from Claxton, Ga., 33 years ago. Mr. Burkhalter was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Claxton and attended First Assembly of God in Palatka. He was also a member of Hastings Lodge 183, Putnam County Shrine Club, West Jacksonville Shrine Club, and Morocco Temple A.A.M.O.S. in Jacksonville.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Elizabeth A. Burkhalter, Palatka; daughters, Eyvette Wright, Hollister, Wendy Cook, Palatka, and Candy Adams and Cindy Boyett, both of San Mateo; brothers, Cleveland Burkhalter, Savannah, Ga., Gene Burkhalter, Claxton, and Clyde Burkhalter, Americus, Ga.; sister, Darlene Batts, Milton; and six grandchildren.

OCALA — Guillermo Geigel Coimbre, 81, a retired electric engineer, died Monday, July 31, 2000, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Ponce, Puerto Rico, he moved here from Brooklyn, N.Y., 25 years ago. He was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa G. Coimbre, Ocala; daughters, Gladys Montalban, Queens, N.Y., and Lydia G. Rivera, Deltona; sons, Pedro Rosa, Queens, and William Geigel, Ocala; sisters, Pilar Hernandez and Mary Hernandez, both of Manhattan, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great—grandchildren.

BELLEVIEW — Clement J. Doniere, 83, a retired factory foreman, died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2000, at Harborside Health Care.
A native of Plainfield, N.J., he moved here from Palm Springs, Calif., in 1997. Mr. Doniere was Catholic. He was an employee of Dana Spicer Inc.
Mr. Doniere was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Doniere.

OCALA — Mitchell G. Grodski, 83, a retired chemist, died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2000, at Surrey Place Convalescent Center.
A native of Chicago, he moved here from Riverside, Ill., in 1994. Mr. Mitchell was Catholic. He was a member of the Chicago Business Men's Symphony.
Survivors include his sister, Gertrude Grodski, Mount Pleasant, Mich.; and nieces, Regina Rustenier, Alachua, and Rae Montgomery, Jacksonville Beach.

A native of Monroe County, Ala., he moved here from Pensacola in 1991. Mr. Williams was a member of College Road Baptist Church.

INVERNESS — John A. Zotter, 69, owner of a delicatessen, died Saturday, July 29, 2000.
A native of Bronx, N.Y., he moved here from Babylon, N.Y., 14 years ago. He was the owner of Zotter's Delicatessen in South Hempstead, N.Y.
Mr. Zotter was preceded in death by his wife, June D. Zotter.

A native of Okeechobee, she moved here from Orlando in 1970. Mrs. Conroy was a member of Moss Bluff Baptist Church and Silver Springs Lioness Club.

A native of McKeesport, Pa., he moved here from Linthicum Heights, Md., 14 years ago. Mr. Frost retired from Westinghouse Electric in Baltimore, Md., after 40 years of service. He was a member of Ocala West United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Norma D. Frost, Ocala; son, Robert J. Frost Jr., Groton, Mass.; daughter, Susan E. Bennett, Ferndale, Md.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

LAKE CITY — Genevieve M. Kolb, 88, a retired elementary school teacher, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2000.
A native of Tampa, she moved to Lake City from Marion County one year ago. Mrs. Kolb was a member of First Baptist Church of Ocala; Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter No. 29, Ocala; Woodmen of the World; Ocala Women's Club Evening Division; and the Gray Ladies Hospital Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis B. Kolb, who died in 1969.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sollin.
