OCALA — Carl Williams Jr., 70, a retired owner and operator of Industrial Truck and Lift, died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2000, at his home.
A native of Monroe County, Ala., he moved here from Pensacola in 1991. Mr. Williams was a member of College Road Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Alberta Williams, Ocala; daughters, Elizabeth Wright, Longwood, and Judy C. Wise, Ocala; son, Carl Rickey Williams, Alabama; sister, Vicie Gregson, Mobile, Ala.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

CLAYMONT, Del. — Philip Quigley Churchman Winkler, 81, an industrial engineer, died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2000.
A native of Wilmington, Del., he was a former resident of Ocala. Mr. Winkler retired from DuPont Chamber Works, after 32 years of service. Mr. Winkler was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II. He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post No. 2009, Ocala, and Elks Lodge, No. 2730, Ocala.
Survivors include his wife, Estelle Winkler; children, David Winkler, Philip Winkler, Linda Rambo and Debe Winkler; brother, Charles Winkler; sister, Ann Stewart; and one granddaughter.
