PEMBROKE PINES — James Arthur Dawe Jr., 66, a retired fleet manager for Ryder truck lines, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000, at Sylvia's Hospice House.
Mr. Dawe was a native of Leesville, Texas. He was a member of Church of Christ, National Barrel Horse Association, Western Horse Association of Florida and a member of South Florida Barrell Racers Association board of directors.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Odom Dawe, Pembroke Pines; daughters, Jean McLaughlin, Ocala, and Angela Clair Dawe; and son, Jason Lee Dry Ulrici, both of Davie; sister, Beth Bulmer, Pembroke Pines; three grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

OCALA — Robert L. Ewell, 67, a salesman for Martelli Construction, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000.
A native of Lumberton, N.M., he moved here from McMinnville, Tenn., in 1990. Mr. Ewell was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge in Ocala. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Ewell, Ocala; son, Mike Green, McMinnville; daughter, Regina Wetlauf, Ocala; sisters, Alicy Sonnier, Beaumont, Texas, and Norma Jean Amon, Grand Junction, Colo.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

OCALA — James T. Glover, 91, a retired herpetologist for Silver Springs Attraction, died Sunday, Aug. 6, 2000, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Otter Creek, he moved here 60 years ago. Mr. Glover was a member of Gospel Temple Church of God in Christ.
Survivors include his daughters, Rutha M. Gaskin, Jacksonville, Debra Howard, Delorise Young, Betty Roberts and Barbara Woodson; and son, W. Earl Glover, all of Ocala; sisters, Lucille Williams, Bronson, Rosa Lee Clenton, Jacksonville, and Marie Smith, Williston; 28 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great-grandchildren.

REDDICK — Ella Govan, 92, a homemaker, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2000.
Mrs. Govan was a native and a lifelong resident of Reddick. She was Pentecostal.

HERNANDO — Robert "Bob" W. Lane, 84, a retired truck driver, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000.
A native of St. Louis, Mich., he moved to Hernando from Floral City nine years ago. Mr. Lane earned a 20 year safe driving award before retiring. He was a member of First Christian Church, St. Louis; National Rifle Association; Michigan Bow Hunters and Sportsman Club; and a past member of the National Field Archery Association.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Agnes Lane, Hernando; and his brothers, Niles Lane, Brooksville, Norman Lane, Hernando, and Duane Lane, St. Louis.

OCALA — Donald F. MacKinnon, 92, a retired real estate agent, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2000, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Oak Park, Ill., he moved here from Elkhart, Ill., in 1980. Mr. MacKinnon was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the American Legion and Golden Hills Golf and Turf Club.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen.
