OCALA — Kathryn L.W. Bolen, 86, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2000.
A native of Albany, N.Y., she moved here from Miami in 1980. Mrs. Bolen was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ.
Survivors include her daughters, Audrey F. Newell, Miami, Marjorie E. Lowe, California, and Priscilla R. Toms, Ocala; seven grandchildren; and 11 great—grandchildren.

Kenneth H. Brown Jr., 73
OCALA — Kenneth H. Brown Jr., 73, a former sports director for WESH Television, died Friday, Aug. 18, 2000.
Mr. Brown was a native of Green River, Wyo. He was a longtime a resident of Ocala. Mr. Brown began his broadcast career with WTMC radio in Ocala. He was member and treasurer of the board of directors of Florida Sports Hall of Fame; organizer and former president of Florida Sportscasters; charter member of Rotary Club, South Seminole and Longwood. Mr. Brown served three terms as mayor of Longwood. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Bettie Brown, Longwood; daughters, Nancy Tyrrell, Athens, Ga., and Karen Colosi, Orlando; sons, Frederick W. Brown, Boulder City, Nev., and Kenneth H. Brown III, Maitland; 11 grandchildren; and three great—grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.

Ingeburg Casebolt, 72
OCKLAWAHA — Ingeburg Casebolt, 72, a homemaker, died Sunday, Aug. 20, 2000, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Desburg, Germany, she moved here from Germany in 1958. Mrs. Casebolt was a member of Order of the Eastern Star. She was Catholic.
Survivors include her son, Samuel Schurmann, Leesburg; sister, Doris Gantt, Moss Bluff; several brothers; and several nieces and nephews.

Raymond Dalton, 75
OCALA — Raymond Dalton, 75, a retired store clerk for A & P grocery store, died Monday, Aug. 21, 2000, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Bay Shore, N.Y., he moved here from Lindenhurst, N.Y. Mr. Dalton was Protestant. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 1120, Lindenhurst, and the American Association of Retired Persons.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth L. Dalton, Ocala; daughter, Lynn K. Sansspree, Orlando; sons, James R. Dalton, Ocala, and John J. Dalton, Columbia, S.C.; five grandchildren; and six great—grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.

Irvin L. Ellis, 84
SUMMERFIELD — Irvin L. Ellis, 84, a retired staff sergeant for the U.S. Air Force, died Monday, Aug. 21, 2000, at Sylvia's Hospice House.
A native of Apopka, he moved here from Kissimmee in 1971. Mr. Ellis was a member of American Legion Post No. 284. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Mr. Ellis was Baptist.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Lee Ellis and James Ellis; and a daughter, Marsha Ellis.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ellis, Summerfield; son, David Ellis, Summerfield; brother, J.B. Ellis, Fort Lauderdale; and one grandchild.

Frank Lopez, 79
BELLEVIEW — Frank Lopez, 79, a automobile detailer, died Monday, Aug. 21, 2000, at Estelle's Hospice House.
A native of Camuy, Puerto Rico, he moved to Belleview six years ago. Mr. Lopez was Baptist. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving his wife of 36 years Johanna Lopez, Belleview; daughter, Kathy Curd, Tucson, Ariz.; four sisters; two brothers; and one granddaughter.

BELLEVIEW — John Morrison, 63, a boat captain, died Sunday, Aug. 20, 2000.
A native of Flushing, N.Y., he moved here from Hollywood in 1997.
Survivors include his sons, Craig Spencer, Fort Lauderdale, and Curtis Spencer, Pembroke Pines; daughter, Jackie Morrison, Belleview; brother, Thomas Morrison, Miami; and four grandchildren.

Fred Shull Jr., 69
SUMMERFIELD — Fred Shull Jr., 69, a retired mechanic, died Monday, Aug. 21, 2000, at his home.
A native of Crawfordsville, Ind., he moved here in 1974. Mr. Shull was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Shull, Summerfield; daughters, Denise Hole, Jamestown, Ind., Debbie Dillon, Belleview, and Deana King and Meri—Lea Cunningham, both of Ocala; sons, Bill Shull, New Richmond, Ind., and Ric Shull and David Shull, both of Crawfordsville; 13 grandchildren; and five great—grandchildren.

James B. Thompson, 65
OCALA — James B. "Jim" Thompson, 65, a businessman, died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2000.
Mr. Thompson was a native of Indianapolis. He worked in banking and real estate investment and was an owner of an apartment complex and a truck accessory business. He was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Thompson, Bigfork, Mont.; daughter, Karen Ritenar, Sterling, Va.; sons, John Thompson, Denver, and Jeff Thompson, Hartsville, S.C.; brother, Richard Thompson, Indianapolis; and four grandchildren.

BELLEVIEW — Robert E. Young, 71, a supervisor, died Monday, Aug. 21, 2000.
A native of Peoria, Kan., he moved here from Port St. Lucie in 1990. Mr. Young was Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Young, Belleview; son, Robin Young, Oregon; daughter, Patricia Chapman, Ocklawaha; sister, Irene, California; four grandchildren; and one great—grandchild.

Adam G. Bauer, 78
OCALA — Adam George Bauer, 78, an electrician, died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2000, at Estelle's Hospice House.
A native of Bonnot Mill, Mo., he moved to Ocala from Bellavista, Ark., eight years ago. Mr. Bauer was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Bernadine Bauer, Ocala; daughters, Susan Hansen, Neenah, Wisc., and Patricia Bauer, Naples.

GRAND ISLAND — Mary Lou Bost, 73, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2000.
A native of Springfield, Ill., she moved here from Springfield, Mass., in 1985. Mrs. Bost was Catholic.
Survivors include her sons, John L. Bost Jr., Ocala, James H. Bost, Shirley, Mass., and Anthony A. Bost, Fall River, Mass.; daughters, Diana L. Garcia, Westfield, Mass., Mary Lou French, Agawam, Mass., and Phyllis A. Barclay, Springfield, Ohio.; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Jordan E. Bucy, 10
OCALA — Jordan Edward Bucy, 10, a fifth-grade student of St. John Lutheran School, died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2000, at a Shands hospital.
Mr. Bucy was a native of Kingsport, Tenn., and a resident of Ocala. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church. He was also a member of YMCA and Big Sun Youth Soccer.
Survivors include his mother, Donna D. Bucy; father, Steve Bucy; stepmother, Barbara B. Bucy; brother, Harrison Bucy, all of Ocala; paternal grandparents, James and Carolyn Bucy, Paris, Tenn.; and maternal grandparents, Don and Betty Davis, Morristown, Tenn.

Laurence E. Clemens, 56
OCALA — Laurence Eugene "Larry" Clemens, 56, died Monday, Aug. 21, 2000, at his home.
A native of Hammond, Ind., he moved to Ocala from Jesup, Ga., 21 years ago. Mr. Clemens was Baptist. He was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 2356, and Legionnaire Seminole Moose Legion 81.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Clemens, Ocala; and brother, Melvin F. Clemens Jr., Rockville, Md.
