OCALA — Millicent G. Blomgren, 93, a homemaker, died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2000, at TimberRidge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
A native of St. Paul, Minn., she moved here from West St. Paul, Minn., two years ago. Mrs. Blomgren was Episcopalian.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen Hagerman, Ocala; brother, Edward J. Gujer, Dayton, Ohio; sister, Marjorie Brandt, Maple Grove, Minn.; three grandsons; and seven great-grandchildren.

BELLEVIEW — Joan E. Branton, 66, a homemaker, died Friday, Sept. 1, 2000, at her home.
A native of Hull, England, she moved here from Abbington, Md., five years ago. Mrs. Branton attended the Church of the Resurrection.
Survivors include her husband, Philip Branton, Belleview; daughters, Stephanie Jane Haynos, Arlington, Va., and Leslie Ann Negron, Silver Springs Shores; brothers, Keith Tarbotton and Peter Tarbotton, both of Hull; and several grandchildren.

Charles A. Bartel, 84
INVERNESS — Charles A. Bartel, 84, a retired hearing aid salesman, died Friday, Sept. 1, 2000.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, he moved here from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, nine years ago. Mr. Bartel was a member of Masonic Lodge 118, (F&AM), Inverness and First Church of Christian Science. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Bartel.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Muriel Allen Bartel, Inverness; son, Robert A. Bartel, Portsmouth, R.I.; daughters, Carol A. Bates, Columbus, Ohio, and Dorothy Orr, Cuyahoga Falls; and five grandchildren.

OCALA — Anne Stoff Hirsch, 83, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2000, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Bridgeport, Conn., she moved here from Queens, N.Y., in 1979. Mrs. Hirsch was a longtime member of Unitarian-Universalist Association. She enjoyed painting pictures and was an avid reader.
Survivors include her husband, Felix Hirsch, Ocala; daughter, Lenore Hirsch, Novato, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

OCALA — Fred A. Koch, 79, a retired conductor, died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2000, at Sylvia's Hospice House.
A native of Buffalo, N.Y., he moved here from East Aurora, N.Y., in 1983. Mr. Koch retired from Conrail Railroad, after 40 years of service. He was a past commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2940, Harvey D. Morin, West Seneca, N.Y. Mr. Koch was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty J. Koch; and grandson, Andy Hauber.
Survivors include his daughters, Sheila A. Williams, Ocala, Sharon A. Foersch and Christine L. Hauber, both of Marilla, N.Y.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

OCALA — Ruby E. Law, 85, a retired employee for the state of Kentucky, died Friday, Sept. 1, 2000, at Harborside Healthcare of Ocala.
A native of Clarksville, Tenn., she moved here from Orlando in 1994. Mrs. Law was Baptist.

A native of Gully, Minn., she moved here from Boca Raton six years ago. Mrs. Lee was a member of Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4781. She was Lutheran.

A native of Cheboygan, Mich., he moved here from Saginaw, Mich. Mr. Steiner was a U.S. Army Air Corps sergeant during World War II.

OCALA — Evelyn M. Hallick, 89, a retired secretary for Kent Theaters of Jacksonville, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2000, at Harborside Healthcare.
A native of Bordentown, N.J., she moved to Ocala from Jacksonville in 1995. Mrs. Hallick was a member of Swain Memorial Methodist Church of Jacksonville and was a pianist for the Merri Belles singing group.

DUNNELLON — James "Jim" R. Kraiker, 65, a nuclear engineer for Florida Power Corp., died Friday, Sept. 1, 2000, at Seven Rivers Community Hospital in Crystal River.
A native of Philadelphia, he moved to Dunnellon from St. Petersburg 29 years ago. Mr. Kraiker was a member of Lighthouse Word Church in Chiefland. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Doreen Kraiker, Dunnellon; sons, David J. Kraiker, South Orange, N.J., and Alan D. Kraiker, Gainesville; and father, Russell A. Kraiker, Lecanto.
