LECANTO — Joseph Delmer Richards, 85, a machinist, died Monday, Sept. 4, 2000, at his home.
A native of West Virginia, he moved here from Akron, Ohio, in 1984. Mr. Richards was Protestant. He was a member of Lecanto Baptist Church.
Mr. Richards was preceded in death by sons Joseph and William.
Survivors include his wife, Lorene Richards, Lecanto; daughter, Sharon Corban, Hernando; sister, Florabell King, Tampa; three grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Jean C. Roscow, 90
INVERNESS — Jean Cunningham Roscow, 90, a retired high-school librarian, died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2000.
A native of Paterson, N.J., she moved to Inverness from New Jersey in 1946. Mrs. Roscow was a member of St. Margaret's Episcopal Church and Friends of the Library.
She was instrumental in the establishment of the Citrus High School Library.
Mrs. Roscow was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Roscow Jr.

OCALA — William H. Sadler, 85, a retired stationary engineer for Central Hudson Gas and Electric, died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2000, at Estelle's Hospice House.
A native of Tyrone, Ireland, he moved to Ocala from Hyde Park, N.Y., in 1990. Mr. Sadler was a member of Countryside Presbyterian Church, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, New York Club, Oak Run Golf Club, Ambassador Club, and Masonic Normal Lodge No. 136, F&AM.
Mr. Sadler was preceded in death by a granddaughter.

INVERNESS — Harold W. Schlig, 81, a mechanical engineer, died Monday, Sept. 4, 2000, at his home.
A native of Meriden, Conn., he moved to Inverness from Grapevine, Texas, nine years ago. Mr. Schlig was a member of the Local Gun Club.
Mr. Schlig was preceded in death by his wives, Letitia and Sylvia.
