WEST PALM BEACH — Richard M. Boyher Sr., 61, a mechanical engineer for the marine industry, died SaturFriday, Sept. 8, 2000, in Orlando.
Mr. Boyher was a native of St. Louis, and a lifelong resident of West Palm Beach. He was a member of Moose Lodge in Lake Panasoffkee. He was a U.S. Marines veteran during of the Vietnam War era.
Survivors include his wife, Regina Boyher, West Palm Beach; mother, Dolly Boyher, Tucson, Ariz.; daughter, Janet J. Allen, Lynchburg, Va.; son, Richard M. Boyher Jr., Ocala; sister, Jerry Brink, Sonoita,Arizona.; brother, Thurman Boyher, San Diego; and two grandchildren.

OCALA — Goldie Cooper, 81, a homemaker, died Friday, Sept. 8, 2000, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Warren, Ohio, she moved to Ocala from Allen Park, Mich., 10 years ago. Mrs. Cooper was Lutheran.
Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Cooper in 1976.

SUMMERFIELD — Cleveland J. Crenshaw, 81, a farmer, died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2000.
Mr. Crenshaw was a native of Hammock, and a resident of Ocala. He was a member Sumter Electric Board of Directors and a deacon of Pedro Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

OCALA — Vern E. Dary, 95, a retired assistant manager for Silver Springs Attractions, died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2000, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Marshfield, Wis., he moved to Ocala from Beloit, Wis., 45 years ago. Mr. Dary was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

A native of New Haven, Conn., he moved to Ocala from Key West in 1978. Mr. Fusco was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church.

A native of Anthony, he moved here from Miami in 1931. Mr. Gates was formerly owner of Gate Wholesale Tackle. He was a member of the Elks Club & Lodge. Mr. Gates was Methodist.

HERNANDO — William R. Mieras II, 72, a retired electrical engineer for Kaiser Steel, Fontana California and General Dynamics, died Monday, Sept. 11, 2000.
A native of San Antonio, Texas, he moved to Hernando from Cucamonga, Calif., six years ago. Mr. Mieras was Protestant. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Sky High Amateur Radio Club, and Quarter Century Radio Club.

A native of Bridgeport, Conn., she moved to Ocala from Stratford, Conn., in 1999. Mrs. Smith was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Connecticut, and president of AARP, Trunbull Branch in 1978.

SUMMERFIELD — Thomas "Jerry" Desnoyers, 69, a retired office worker for the U.S. government, died Monday, Sept. 11, 2000, in Ocala.
A native of Waterford, N.Y., he moved to Summerfield from Greenville, N.C., six years ago. Mr. Desnoyers was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Belleview. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.

A native of Westfield, N.Y., he moved to Ocala from Westfield in 1985. Mr. Grant was a member of Florida State Florists Association, a treasurer of the Mid State Florist Association, and a district director and vice chairman for FTD Florida. He was a U.S. Marine veteran of the Korean War.

OCALA — Emil "Ski" Gretsky, 74, a retired captain and first mate in the Merchant Marine, died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2000, at Harborside Healthcare.
A native of Heckscherville, Pa., he moved to Ocala from Palm Beach in 1986. Mr. Gretsky was Catholic. He was a member of Moose Lodge 1014, the Merchant Marine Chapter of Ocala, and the American Legion.
