FORT MYERS — Vera LePere Beecher, 95, a retired real estate sales agent on Florida's Gulf Coast, died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2000, at Colonial Oaks Rehabilitation Center in Fort Myers.
Mrs. Beecher was a native of Marseilles, Ill., and a former resident of the Ocala area.
Survivors include her son, David "Kit" Beecher, Fort Myers; and a daughter, Terry Beecher, Hobe Sound; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and two great-great-great grandchildren.

A native of Charleroi, Pa., she moved here from Detroit in 1988. Mrs. Eugenia Cahill was a member of the Russian Orthodox Church.

DUNNELLON — Robert DeGroat, 58, a retired sheriff's deputy for Sussex County in New Jersey, died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2000, in Pensacola.
A native of Patterson, N.J., he moved here from Newton, N.J., in 1994. Mr. DeGroat was a member of Riverland Baptist Church.

INGLIS — Arlie Donald Kilgore, 85, a retired electrician for RCA, died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2000, in Gainesville.
A native of Alexandria, Ind., he moved to Inglis from Fairmount, Ind., in 1979. Mr. Kilgore was a member of the Inglis-Yankeetown Community Club and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 8698. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Mr. Kilgore was preceded in death by his son, Gerald Kilgore.

OCALA — Jeannette F. Winston, 89, a homemaker, died Thursday, Sept. 21, 2000, at New Horizon Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Winston was a native of Mayfield, Ky., and a longtime resident of Ocala. She was a member of First Christian Church of Ocala, the Ocala Women's Club, the Book Club and Pioneer Garden Club. She was on the board of directors of the Marion County chapters of the American Red Cross and the American Cancer Society. She was a Meals-on-Wheels Program volunteer. She was a secretary for the Ocala Heart Association.
Mrs. Winston was preceded in death by her husband, C.E. Winston Jr., in 1978.

Mr. Dias was a native of Tidewater and a lifelong resident of Levy County. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Bronson.
