Francis R. Kelly, 71
SUMMERFIELD — Francis R. Kelly, 71, a retired electrical mechanical division inspector for Westinghouse, died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000, at his residence.
A native of Natrona, Pa., he came to Summerfield from Natrona Heights, Pa., seven years ago. Mr. Kelly was a member of American Legion Post 48 in Natrona, and was a U.S. Marines and U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Mary Ellen Kelly, Summerfield; daughters, Nancy and Lisa Kelly, both of Natrona Heights; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard J. Kelly.

Keith Lanning, 77
OCALA — Keith Lanning, 77, a retired U.S. Army first lieutenant and City of Ocala electric meter department employee, died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000, at Estelle's Hospice House.
A native of Belvidere, Ill., he came here from Chantilly, Va., in 1972. Mr. Lanning was a World War II and Korean War veteran, where he was awarded the Silver Star, two Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart. He also was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; Retired Officers Association; Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8201; American Legion, and NASA's Apollo space program at Goddard Space Center in Greenbelt, Md.
Survivors include his wife, Edith Lanning, Ocala; daughters, Anita Edwards and Karen Laymon, both of Rockford, Ill., Jennifer Fuller, Ocala; sons, Jeffery Lanning and Jon Lanning, both of Ocala; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

OCKLAWAHA — Duane E. Bressler, 39, a block mason for Advanced Masonry Systems, died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2000, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Bressler was a native of Harrisburg, Pa.

OCALA — The Rev. Allan Dexter Burzycki, 57, a truck driver, died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000.
A native of Norwich, Conn., he moved here from Colorado Springs, Colo., in 1979. Burzycki was a member of Fort Douglas Baptist Church.

A native of New York City, he moved here from Hollis, N.Y., 25 years ago. Mr. Siegel was a member of the Jewish War Veterans of Beverly Hills. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

HERNANDO — Alfred Blair Simmons Sr., 73, retired, died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2000.
A native of Parsons, W.Va., he moved here from Tampa 20 years ago. Mr. Simmons retired from the U.S. Army. He served during World War II, and the Korean and Vietnam wars. Mr. Simmons was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Leroy Rooks, Hernando and a member of Citrus Masonic Lodge No. 118, (F&AM), Inverness. He was Baptist.

A native of Chesterfield, Va., he moved here from Powhatan, Va., in 1997. Mr. Sledd was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church; founder and charter member of Loyal Order of the Moose, Powhatan; and was a volunteer fire chief for Powhatan for 25 years.

A native of Spangler, Pa., he moved here from Immokalee two years ago. Mr. Zullinger was a member of New York District Council of Carpenters Builders Union; Southwest Florida Chapter Merchant Marine Veterans; Central New Jersey Musicians Union, Local No. 204-373; and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Metucheon, N.J. He served as a Merchant Marine during World War II. Mr. Zullinger was Baptist.
