OCALA — Patricia G. Dubord, 93, a homemaker, died Monday, Oct. 16, 2000, at Life Care Center of Ocala.
Mrs. Dubord was a native of Escanaba, Mich. She was a member of Annie Johnson's Senior Center, Dunnellon, and the Loyal Order of the Moose.
Survivors include her daughters, Gloria Hampson, Ocala and Barbara Delaney, Plymouth, Mich.; sisters, Ida Anderson, Kenosha, Wis., Rose Carroll, Saginaw, Mich., Myrtle Hite, Gladstone, Mich., and Leona Minor, West Bend, Mich.; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.

Jim Ducksworth, 68
BELLEVIEW — Jim Ducksworth, 68, a retired repairman for an auto paint and body shop, died Saturday, Oct. 14, 2000, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Perry, he moved here from Sarasota in 1969. Mr. Ducksworth was a member of First Baptist Church of Belleview. He was a former fire chief and a volunteer with the South Marion Fire Department.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Ducksworth.
Survivors include his mother, Lola Ducksworth, Sarasota; daughter, Gail Kugler, Summerfield; son, Bruce Ducksworth, Clermont; sisters, Virginia Davis and Jackie Huddleston, both of Sarasota; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

WEST PALM BEACH — Jack C. Galloway, 73, a private chauffeur, died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2000, at his home.
A native of Ocala, he moved to West Palm Beach 20 years ago. Mr. Galloway was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Betty J. Galloway, West Palm Beach; stepson, H.C. Roberts, West Palm Beach; stepdaughter, Carolyn Clark, West Palm Beach; sisters, Violet Knight, Ocala and Louvenia Galloway, West Palm Beach; and his brother, Harold Galloway of Orlando.

Willie J. Hinson Jr., 13
OCALA — Willie J. Hinson Jr., 13, a student, died Monday, Oct. 16, 2000, at Shands in Gainesville.
A native of Selma, Ala., he moved here 10 years ago. Mr. Hinson was a member of Greater New Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Hattie Colbert; father, Willie James Hinson Sr.; stepfather, James Colbert; stepmother, Sharon Hinson; sisters, Bashannon Hinson; brother, Joseph Hinson, all of Ocala; and his grandparents, Lillie Mae and James Robinson, Ocala, Foster Walker, Sarasota and Ervine and Annie Hinson, Hayneville, Ala.Summers Funeral Home, Ocala, provided information.

Richard Hughs, 49
GRAPEVINE, Texas — Richard Hughs, 49, chief executive officer and president of Redifun Flight Simulators of South Lake, Texas, died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2000, at his home.
A native of Monticello, N.Y., he moved to Grapevine from Wichita, Kan., in 1980. Mr. Hughs was United Methodist.
Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Hughs, Grapevine; son, Ryan Hughs, Grapevine; daughter, Hannah Hughs, Grapevine; parents, Arnold and Eleanor Hughs, Dunnellon; sisters, Renee Somers, Monticello and Gwynne Blum, Wall, N.J.; and his brother, Robert Hughs, New York City.

Doretha H. Jones, 87
OCALA — Doretha H. Jones, 87, a homemaker, died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2000, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Jones was a native and a lifelong resident of Ocala. She was a member of Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her brother, Woodrow Hinton, Ocala; and several nieces and nephews.

Michael L. Jones, 28
OCALA — Michael Lee Jones, 28, a carpet installer, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2000, at his home.
A native of Cleveland, he was a longtime resident of Ocala.
Survivors include his mother, Ruby M. Dodson, Ocala; sister, Teresa Beaver, Ocala; and his brothers, Randy Dotson, Ocala and James Jones, Dunnellon.

Phyllis G. Loomis, 85
OCALA — Phyllis G. Loomis, 85, a retired medical secretary for a doctor's office, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2000, at Estelle's Hospice House.
A native of Buffalo, N.Y., she moved here from Grand Island, N.Y., 20 years ago. Mrs. Loomis was a member of Presbyterian Church at Marion Oaks; founder and president of Wilson New York Civic Club; and Bishop Ferris Guild, St. John's Episcopal Church. She graduated from Buffalo Seminary.
Survivors include her husband, Vincent Loomis, Ocala; daughters, Marcia Young, Presque Isle, Maine, Molly T. Lawrence, Schaumberg, Ill., and Millicent F. Alton, Bangor, Maine; brother, Frank C. Harwood, Jacksonville; sister, Ruth Gabey, Buffalo; and five grandchildren.

Mary A. Mazur, 78
OCALA — Mary Ann Mazur, 78, a retail store manager, died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2000, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Pennsylvania, she moved here from Pembroke Pines three years ago. Mrs. Mazur attended First Congregational United Church of Christ.
There are no known survivors.

William Mike, 69
OCALA — William Mike, 69, a highway asphalt paver, died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2000, at Sunbridge at Conventry.
A native of Ocilla, Ga., he was a longtime resident of Ocala. Mr. Mike was Baptist.
Survivors include his daughter, Faye Isaac; sons, Cedric Mike and Keith Mike, all of Ocala; sisters, Willie Mae Robinson, Ocala and Dora Lee Hill, Lake Alfred; brothers, Drew Mike, Chester, Pa., Lucious Mike and Eugene Mike, both of Lake Alfred; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Rev. Dennis E. Morris, 46
OCALA — The Rev. Dennis Edwin Morris, 46, a Southern Baptist minister, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2000, at his home.
A native of Harvey, Ill., he moved here from Winchester, Tenn., in 1992. He served as pastor of First Baptist Church of Salt Springs and as a church development consultant for the Marion Baptist Association.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Cristina Morris, Ocala; daughters, Anna Morris and Rebekah Morris, both of Ocala; sons, Jonathan Morris, Germany, and David Morris, Fort Hood, Texas; mother, Joyce Honey, Belvidere, Tenn.; sister, Brenda Gass, both of Marietta, Ga.; and his stepfather, Leland Honey, Belvidere.

OCALA — Leslie Wayne Soard, 49, a marketing director for a private school, died Monday, Oct. 16, 2000, at his home.
A native of Wabash, Ind., he moved here in 1978.
Survivors include his sons, Jay Soard and Doug Soard, both of Ocala; parents, Douglas and Mary Soard, Fort Lauderdale; sisters, Karen Contreraz, Fort Lauderdale and Marilyn Haselbauer, Pompano Beach; and brother, Todd Soard, Coral Springs.

Elizabeth Williams, 84
OCALA — Elizabeth Williams, 84, a homemaker, died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2000, at Ocala Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Williams was a native and a lifelong resident of Ocala. She was a member of Siloam Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her niece, Ethel Wofford, Ocala.

Paul N. Farnham Jr., 79
OCALA —- Paul N. Farnham Jr., 79, a salesman, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2000, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of St. Johnsbury, Vt., he moved here from Saratoga Springs, N.Y., in 1987. Mr. Farnham was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Farnham, Ocala; daughter, Susan F. Platt, South Euclid, Okla.; son, Paul N. Farnham III, Hampden, Maine; sister, Jane F. Whitehead, Auburn, N.Y.; and five grandchildren.

LADY LAKE — Constance Sue "Connie" Hardbarger, 35, owner and operator of a cleaning service, died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2000.
A native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, she moved here from Flat River, Mo., in 1983. Ms. Hardbarger was a member of Fellowship Church of Flat River.
Survivors include her mother, Betty Bradley, Port Charlotte; sister, Tina M. Weeden, Port Charlotte; half-brothers, Paul Wright and Jerry Wright, both of Tallahassee; half-sister, Sandra Zwahlen, Elmwood, N.J.; and several nephews and nieces.

Olin S. Kasson Jr., 68
BELLEVIEW — Olin Samule Kasson Jr., 68, a retired machinist, died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2000, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Ulster, Pa., he moved here a short time ago. Mr. Kasson retired from Ingersoll-Rand, after 38 years of service. He was Protestant and an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret A. Kasson, Belleview; daughters, Carolyn Vanderpool, Monroeton, Pa., Mary Saxer, Dushore, Pa.; sons, Mark Kasson, East Smithfield, Pa., Robert Kasson and David Kasson, both of Lockwood, N.Y.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. May was a native of Burlington, N.C.

Survivors include her husband, William May, Ocala; son, Charles Longmire, Pasadena, Md.; stepdaughter, Mary May, Belleview; brother, Albert Longmire, Berlin, Md.; sister, Helen Davenport, Creedmoor, N.C.; and two grandchildren.

DUNNELLON — Janet E. Miller, 81, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2000.
A native of Braxton County, W.Va., she moved here from Shock, W.Va., 37 years ago. Mrs. Miller was a member of Dunnellon Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Hurley B. Miller, Dunnellon; son, David L. Miller, Tampa; daughter, Mary L. Schlacter, Inglis; brother, Paul Wolfe, Stumptown, W.Va.; sisters, Ruth Miller, Stumptown and Floradel Stump, Elyria, Ohio; and two grandchildren.

OCALA — Ruby Elizabeth Mimbs, 84, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2000.
A native of Pedro, she was a lifelong resident of Marion County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil "Doc" Mimbs.
There are no known survivors.

Betty M. Zolman, 80
INVERNESS — Betty Marie Zolman, 80, a retired nursing assistant, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2000.
A native of Pontiac, Mich., she moved here from St. Petersburg 11 years ago. Mrs. Zolman was Protestant.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Zolman.
Survivors include her son, David Zolman, Waterford, Mich.; daughters, Sandy Zolman, Inverness, Judy Stem, St. Petersburg and Glenda Stephens, Pontiac; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
