Robert J. Hotchkiss, 82
OCALA — Robert J. Hotchkiss, 82, a retired tool maker for La Salle Tool & Dye Co., died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2000, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of West Park, Ohio, he came here from Detroit in 1984. Mr. Hotchkiss was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, a member of Veteran of Foreign Wars and an avid golfer and bowler.
Survivors include his wife, Grace Hotchkiss, Ocala; son, Paul Hotchkiss; daughter, Marilyn Waltsgott; brothers, Ed, Chuck and George Hotchkiss; sister, Ruth; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Marion County.

Mary B. Larkey, 93
DUNNELLON — Mary Blanche Larkey, 93, a retired grocer, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2000, in Ocala.
Mrs. Larkey was a native of Hixon, Tenn., and was a member of Littlefield Boulevard Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Wilma Stewart, Dunnellon; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Charles E. Matthews, Sr., 70
BEVERLY HILLS — Charles E. Matthews, Sr., 70, a retired real estate salesman, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2000.
A native of Jacksonville, he came to Beverly Hills from Stuart five years ago. Mr. Matthews was a 32nd Degree Mason, and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Inverness.
Survivors include his wife, Suzanne Nordstrom Matthews, Beverly Hills; son, Charles E. Matthews, Jr., Atlanta; daughter, Elizabeth Wherley, Tampa; brothers, Roswell Matthews, Charleston, S.C., and Fredrick Matthews, Miami; and three grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1902, Inverness, Fl. 34451-1902.

Mike Nellis, 42
OCKLAWAHA — Mike Nellis, 42, a mobile home manufacturer for Skyline Mobile Home, died Friday, Oct. 20, 2000, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Wiesbaden, Germany, he came to Ocklawaha from Baltimore 25 years ago. Mr. Nellis was a U.S. Army service member.
Survivors include his mother, Anna Marie Nellis, Ocklawaha; sisters, Judy Pendleton, Rudolph, Ohio, and Nancy Ponick, Street, Md.; brothers, Frank A. Nellis, Baltimore, and John L. Nellis, Reddick.

Marie Paglia, 85
OCALA — Marie Paglia, 85, a homemaker, died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2000, at Park Place.
A native of New York, she came here 20 years ago. Mrs. Paglia was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church.
Survivors include her son, Michael A. Paglia, Jr., Ocala; sisters, Josephine Parrillo and Angela Imperato, both of New York; five grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael A. Paglia, Sr., and son John Paglia.

Narcy J. Burttram, 76
OCALA — Narcy J. Burttram, 76, a homemaker, died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2000, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Alabama, she moved here from Miami in 1970. Mrs. Burttram was a member of New Covenant Worship Center.
Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Burttram, Ocala; sons, Jerry Burttram, Jacksonville, Burt Burttram and Dave Burttram, both of Ocala; sister, Bessie Lee, Springville, Ala.; brother, W.W. Sullivan, Milton; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

OXFORD — Irving H. Christopherson, 79, a retired sales representative for Westinghouse Electric, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2000.
A native of Pelican Rapids, Minn., he moved here from Bethesda, Md., in 1981. Mr. Christopherson was Protestant.
Survivors include his brothers, Oren Christopherson, Spokane, Wash., and Lorene Christopherson, Pelican Rapids; and his sisters, Maxine Evenson, Pelican Rapids, Mary Lou Wisted, Faribault, Minn., and Ellen Anne Deblin, Alexandria, Minn.

Chuck E. Daniels, 59
REDDICK — Chuck E. Daniels, 59, an automobile salesperson, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2000.
A native of Binghamton, N.Y., he moved here from Zephyrhills two years ago. Mr. Daniels was a member of Donaldson Track and Hunting Club of Waldo.
Survivors include his wife, Gay L. Daniels, Reddick; sons, David Daniels, Brooksville and Chuck Daniels, Tampa; daughters, Diane Stevens, Atlanta; brother, Harold Daniels, Tampa; sister, Dorothy Blanchard, Punta Gorda; and four grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, James P. Hales III, Dunnellon; daughters, Karen Foerster, DeLand and Laura Hales, Dunnellon; mother, Varnelle Welsh, Fayetteville, N.C.; sisters, Carol McLallen, Jacksonville; Rita Goad and Nancy Fritts, both Fayetteville; and one grandchild.

Glenn Hoffman, 64
BELLEVIEW — Glenn "Bud" Hoffman, 64, a truck driver for Ganey Corporation, died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2000, at his home.
A native of York, Mich., he moved here from Toledo 15 years ago. Mr. Hoffman was an avid fisherman. He was Protestant and a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Hoffman, Belleview; son, Randy Lee Hoffman, Monroe, Mich.; daughter, Linda Leigh, Sylvania, Ohio; sister, Jeanetter Beverly, Petersburg, Mich.; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

SILVER SPRINGS — Tyler Cole Howard, a newborn, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2000, at a Shands hospital in Gainesville.
He is survived by his parents, Guy and Kimberly Howard, Silver Springs.

Margaret E. Hrees, 81
OCALA — Margaret E. Hrees, 81, a homemaker, died Friday, Oct. 20, 2000, at her home.
A native of Homestead, Pa., she moved here from New Jersey in 1988. Mrs. Hrees was a member of Ocala West United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Hrees Jr., Ocala; daughter Virginia C. Dempsey, Hazel Green, Ala.; son, Boh Robert A. Hrees, Hadlow Park, England; brother, Nicholas Evank, Pittsburgh; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Glen D. Keefer, 74
OCALA — Glen Dale Keefer, 74, a retiree of Unifirst Corporation, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2000, at Estelle's Hospice House.
A native of Mishawaka, Ind., he moved here from Indiana. Mr. Keefer was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Louise Keefer.
Survivors include his daughter, Glenda Julien, Ocala; sisters, Marilyn Wiley, Mishawaka, Patricia Walker, Fort Wayne, Ind., and Shirley Miller, Sarasota; and his brothers Richard Jack Keefer, Fort Wayne, Bill Keefer and Robert Keefer, both of South Bend, Ind.

Theresa A. Krolikowski, 64
DUNNELLON — Theresa Ann Krolikowski, 64, a retired private secretary, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2000, at Seven Rivers Hospital in Crystal River.
A native of Bridgeport, Conn., she moved here from Stratford, Conn., six months ago. Mrs. Krolikowski retired from the U.S. Government Department of Defense, after 25 years of service. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
Survivors include her son, Leon Krolikowski, New Canaan, Conn.; daughter, Tammy Markowich, Summerville, S.C.; sisters, Mary Andrews, Dunnellon and Viola Wirtemburg, Inglis; and four grandchildren.

Samuel Lauff Sr., 90
OCALA — Samuel Lauff Sr., 90, a retired business owner and building contractor, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2000, at his home.
A native of Philadelphia, he moved here from Edgewater in 1982. Mr. Lauff was a member of the Shriners and the Scottish Rite.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Clara Lauff; and his son, Samuel Lauff Jr., both of Ocala.
