OCALA — Bruce MacMaster, 72, a retired counselor, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2000.
A native of Cartagena, Colombia, he moved here from Miami this year. Mr. MacMaster retired from the State Department in Washington, D.C., after 38 years ago service. He attended Blessed Trinity Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ilse MacMaster, Ocala; daughters, Claudia MacMaster, Ilse MacMaster and Helena MacMaster, all of Gainesville; and his sisters, Sophia MacMaster, Nellie MacMaster and Helena Delwin, all of Colombia.

Lawrence V. Milnor, 71
INVERNESS — Lawrence Vincent Milnor, 71, a retired electrician, died Friday, Oct. 20, 2000.
A native of Plainfield, N.J., he moved here from Tacoma Park, Md., four years ago. Mr. Milnor was a member of International Brotherhood Electrical Workers, Local No. 26, Washington, D.C. and the Eden Garden Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Edna Chase Milnor, Inverness; son, Michael R. Milnor, Inverness; daughter, Laura Lea LeRoy, Silver Spring, Md.; brothers, Robert Milnor, Kissmmee, Joseph Milnor, Beltsville, Md., and John Milnor, Doylestown, Pa.; and his sister, Catherine Milnor, Doylestown.

HOMOSASSA — Beth Ann Moreland, 40, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2000.
Miss Moreland was a native of St. Petersburg. She was a graduate of Northeast High School. Miss Moreland enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include her father, Robert J. Moreland Sr.; stepmother, Reba A. Moreland; and her sisters, Michele M. Kennedy and Terrie R. Moreland.

LADY LAKE — Mary M. Thews, 83, a retired deli clerk for Winn Dixie, died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2000, at Leesburg Nursing Center.
A native of Fort Collins, Colo., she moved here from Greenacres 10 years ago. Mrs. Thews was Lutheran. She enjoyed playing bingo.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Graham.
Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Lighty, Lady Lake; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.

A native of Ocala, she moved to Fruitland Park in 1946. Mrs. Tucker was Protestant. She enjoyed bowling.

DUNNELLON — Jay A. Tuttle, 76, a retired photo engraver for San Jacinto Graphic Arts, Houston, died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2000, in Lecanto.
A native of Waterbury, Conn., he moved here from Houston in 1990. Mr. Tuttle was a member of Central Dunnellon Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jay Stephen Tuttle.

OCKLAWAHA — Edgar Vicente, 65, a retired New York City police officer, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2000.
A native of New York City, he moved here in 1983. Mr. Vicente was a member of Disabled American Veterans, Chapter No. 85 and Knights of Columbus. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Mr. Vicente was Catholic.

A native of Buffalo, N.Y., he moved here from Warren, Pa., in 1978. Mr. Giese was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was Protestant.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Gramada.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Donna Ingrassia.

OCALA — Dorothy M. McNamara, 85, a retired salesperson, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2000, at her home.
A native of Annapolis, Md., she moved here in 1997. Ms. McNamara retired from Ruth's Dress Shop of Annapolis. She was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church, Marion Oaks; the Ladies of the Elks Lodge No. 622; and a former member of West Annapolis Fire Department Auxiliary.
Survivors include her daughter, Marsha McNamara, Ocala; sister, Edith Terry, Annapolis; one granddaughter; and several nieces.

BOARDMAN — Alice Farnbach Ray, 82, a retired lieutenant for the Department of Corrections at the women's prison in Lowell, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2000.
Ms. Ray was a native and a lifelong resident of Boardman. She was a member of First Christian Church of McIntosh.
