INVERNESS — Robert Asa Gilstrap, 49, a cattle rancher, died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2000.
A native of Brooksville, he was a longtime resident of Citrus County. Mr. Gilstrap member of First Baptist Church of Invernesss. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard.
He was preceded in death by a child, Jade Amber Gilstrap; and a grandchild, Trent Raven Nolan.
Survivors include his son, Nathan Asa Gilstrap, Inverness; mother, Norine Strickland Gilstrap, Inverness; sisters, Betty N. Gilstrap, St. Simons Island, Ga., and Theresa L. Gilstrap, Inverness; a niece; and nephew.

OCALA — Geraldine P. Holden, 83, a homemaker, died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2000, Harborside Healthcare Center.
A native of Venus, Pa., she moved here from Minard Run, Pa. Mrs. Holden was a member of Custer City United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis Marose, Osage Beach, Mo.; sons, Fred Holden, Spring Valley, Calif., and Richard Holden, Raymore, Mo.; brother, Larry Goodman, Fulton, Miss., sisters, Dorothy Swiger, Ashtabula, Ohio, Ruby Salada, Custer City, Pa., Marion Flanders and Evelyn Ross, both of Bradford, Pa.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

OCALA — Ena J. Jones, 76, a dressmaker, died Friday, Oct. 27, 2000, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Jamaica, West Indies, she moved here from Bronx, N.Y., 15 years ago. Mrs. Jones was an active member of Fort King Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Albert H. Jones, Ocala; son, Basil Jones, New Brunswick, N.J.; daughter, Carol Jones, Bronx; and sister, Laurel Marshall, Ocala.

Albert V. Kleever, 83
BELLEVIEW — Albert V. Kleever, 83, a retired welder and foreman in the steel industry, died Monday, Oct. 30, 2000, at his home.
A native of Randolph, N.Y., he moved here from New York in 1978. Mr. Kleever was Protestant.
Survivors include his wife, Dormalea Kleever, Belleview; daughter, Hope Palmquist, Largo; sister, Ella Murphy, Springville, N.Y.; a granddaughter; and one great-granddaughter.

OCALA — Lynne A. Kopsho, 21, an assembler for Custom Windows, died Friday, Oct. 27, 2000, in Ocala.
A native of Piqua, Ohio, she moved here five years ago.
Survivors include her father, Michael Banning, Ocala; mother, Jill Banning, Piqua; grandparents, Harry and Joan Potts, Leesburg, and Charles and Clara Hutton, Piqua; sisters, Jennifer Banning, Sidney, Ohio, Kimberly Banning, Troy, Ohio and Emily Banning, Piqua; and her brother, Christopher Banning, Troy.

OCALA — Helen A. McRorie, 90, a homemaker, died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2000, at Surrey Place of Ocala.
A native of Lawrence, Mass., she moved here from Hialeah in 1980. Mrs. McRorie was Catholic.
Survivors include her daughter, Katie Vanduser, Ocala; son, Donald McRorie, Whitman, Mass.; and four grandchildren.

SUMMERFIELD — Eleanor S. Nasio, 76, homemaker, died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2000.
A native of Philadelphia, she moved here from Gainesville in 1996. Mrs. Nasio was Catholic.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur Nasio, Summerfield; son, Kenneth Turner, Midland Park, N.J.; daughter, Veronica Turner, Boston; brother, Edward Kozak, New Milford, N.J.; and four grandchildren.

Robert B. Preston, 73
BELLEVIEW — Robert B. Preston, 73, a retired U.S. Navy chief pharmacist mate, died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2000, at his home.
A native of Providence, R.I., he moved here from Charleston, S.C., four years ago. Mr. Preston was a member of St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Navy for 22 years.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Preston, Belleview; sisters, Dorothy Hammond, Warwick, R.I., and Evelyn Roy, Ocala; brother, Michael Preston, Port St. John; and five children.

Richard E. Roberts, 74
HERNANDO — Richard "Dick" E. Roberts, 74, a former business owner and operator, died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2000, at home under Hospice care.
A native of Clearwater, he moved to Citrus County in 1969. Mr. Roberts was owner of Roberts Greenhouse in Clearwater; operator of Alice Mae Flower Shop; and owner of Sky High Ranch. He was past treasurer of Citrus County Cattlemen's Association and member of Church of Christ in Inverness.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Natalie Upham Roberts, Hernando; sons, Richard J. Roberts, Boulder, Colo., William E. Roberts, Hernando, Louis J. Iserhardt, St. Petersburg and William U. Iserhardt, Gainesville; daughters, Alice R. Kendrick, Hernando, Katherine I. Osborne, Atlanta, and Lynn I. Lee, Memphis, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

OCALA — Virginia Roman, 68, a homemaker, died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2000, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Cidra, Puerto Rico, she moved here from Rockland County, N.Y., one year ago. Mrs. Roman was Catholic.
Survivors include her husband, Julian Roman, Ocala; son, Julio Roman Jr., Albuquerque, N.M.; daughters, Maria Evelez, Marietta, Ga., and Lucy Belb, Haverstraw, N.Y.; brothers, Daniel Soto and Julio Soto; and sisters, Maria Esther Soto, Eterdenna Ramos and Carmen Delia Soto, all of Puerto Rico; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mildred S. Savage, 89
OCALA — Mildred Smith Savage, 89, a registrar for the Selective Service System, died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2000, at her home.
A native of Greenville, S.C., she moved here in 1925. Mrs. Savage was an active member of First Presbyterian Church of Ocala; Daughters of the American Revolution, Ocala; Ocala Historical Society; Community Concert Association; American Association of Retired Persons; and a former member of the Ocala Women's Club.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, A. Kimbrol Smith and Charles A. Savage Jr.
Survivors include her daughters, Shirley Smith Starling, Live Oak, and Ann Smith VanDenburgh, Ocala; stepson, Charles A. Savage III, Ocala; and nine grandchildren.

SILVER SPRINGS — Lillian M. Theriault, 81, a retired dental assistant, died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2000, at Harborside Healthcare Center.
A native of Pittsfield, Mass., she moved here 20 years ago. Mrs. Theriault was a member of Order of the Eastern Star. She was Episcopal.
Survivors include her husband, Harry Theriault, Silver Springs; son, Louis Theriault, Arkansas; daughter, Lillian Chojnowski, Pittsfield; brother, Louis Arzt, Denham Springs, La.; sister, Margaret May, Pittsfield; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.

Jack E. Wood, 58
CLYATTVILLE, Ga. — Jack Edgar Wood, 58, a retiree of Bell South, died Monday, Oct. 30, 2000.
Mr. Wood was a native of Lowndes County, Ga. He was a member and deacon of Benevolence Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Wood; daughter, Melissa Tindall; sons, Marc Wood and Micah Wood, all of Clyattville; sister, Thelma Scaduto, Summerfield; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of South Georgia or the American Cancer Society.
