A native of Seymour, Mo., he moved here from Tampa in 1980. Mr. Bryant was a U.S. Army veteran. He was Methodist.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian Bryant, Ocala; sons, Elmer G. Bryant Jr., Bossier City, La., and Richard I. Bryant, Ocala; daughters, Betty K. Wells, Brooksville and Norma J. Wycoff, Hawthorne; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

OCKLAWAHA — Shirley L. Buk, 66, a retired cashier, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000.
A native of Akron, Ohio, she moved here from Gouverneur, N.Y., 13 years ago.

OCALA — Ray Dersch, 83, a retired retail salesman, died Monday, Oct. 30, 2000, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Dersch was a native of Milwaukee. He was a member of Joy Lutheran Church. Mr. Dersch served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Vera Dersch, Ocala; and stepson, Brian Kaghen, Phoenix.

OCALA — Harold R. Gley, 83, a retired electrician for General Dynamics Electric Boat Division, died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2000, at Estelle's Hospice House.
A native of Stonington, Conn., he moved here from North Stonington, Conn., 13 years ago. Mr. Gley was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a Jehovah's Witness.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Gley, Ocala; son, John Albert Gley, Richmond, R.I.; daughter, Carol Ann Arbour, Pawcatuck, Conn.; three sisters; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

David A. Kelley, 81
OCALA — David A. Kelley, 81, a former business owner, died Monday, Oct. 30, 2000, at New Horizon Rehabilitation Center.
A native of Philadelphia, Mr. Kelley was a longtime resident of Collegeville, Pa., and he moved here from Astatula one year ago. He was owner and operator of Florida Made Door Company in Astatula. He was a past fire chief for the volunteer fire department in Collegeville.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice S. Kelley.
Survivors include his wife, Florence May Kelley, Ocala; daughter, Joan B. Giambrone, Ocala; son, Patrick David Kelley, Astatula; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A native of Clay City, Ky., he moved here from Lexington, Ky., in 1960. Mr. Kennon served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Georgia Kennon, Ocala; son, Fran Clifton Kennon, Ocala; daughters, Janet Namen and Margie Harward, both of Ocala; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

OCALA — Richard C. Pond, 76, a former business owner, died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000.
A native of Lundenburg, Vt., he moved here from Lyme, N.H., in 1977. Mr. Pond was owner and operator of Pond Supermarket in Lyme. He was a member of a Masonic lodge in Lyme. Mr. Pond served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by his sons, Stewart G. Pond, Winter Park and Richard C. Pond Jr., Lyme.

SEFFNER — Victor Reese Sr., 41, a painter, died Friday, Oct. 27, 2000, at Estelle's Hospice House.
A native of Atlanta, he moved to Seffner from Alabama 15 years ago. Mr. Reese was Baptist. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his mother, Louise Reese, Horton, Ala.; father, George L. Reese, Atlanta; daughter, Tinisha Reese; son, Victor Reese Jr.; sisters, Marilyn Reese, Martha Lynn Reese, Kansas, Diane Parrish and Connie Reese, both of Alabama; and his brothers, Steve Reese, Seffner, Robert Reese, Plant City, Percy Reese, Florida, and Jeff Reese and Alan Reese, both of Georgia.

OCALA — Ruth Wood Johns, 89, retired owner and operator of Ocala Laundry and Cleaners, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000, at her home.
A native of Meriwether County, Ga., she moved here from Jacksonville in 1940. Mrs. Johns was a former pastor, past secretary and an active member of First Baptist Church of Ocala, and past president of Pilot Club of Ocala.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louie James Johns; and sons, Jerry Wayne Johns and Victor Randall Johns.
Survivors include her daughters, Pamela Johns Miller, Jan Johns and Linda Johns, all of Ocala; sister, Opal Moore, Williston; eight grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren.
