OCALA — Lyle Kennon, 80, a retired manager for Fernung and Williams Farm, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Clay City, Ky., he moved here from Lexington, Ky. in 1960. Mr. Kennon served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was Baptist.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Brad.
Survivors include his wife, Georgia Kennon; son, Fran Clifton Kennon; daughters, Janet Namen and Margie Harward, all of Ocala; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Vincent LaPorte, 67
OCALA — Vincent LaPorte, 67, a retired custodian for Marion County Public Schools, died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2000, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Pleasantville, N.Y., he moved here from New Rochelle, N.Y., in 1991. Mr. LaPorte was a member of Tabernacle Assembly of God.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara T. LaPorte, Ocala; daughters, Melanie Clarke, Fraser, Mich., and Deborah Jaworski, Warren, Mich.; sons, Patrick Noble, Kingston, Jamaica, and Richard McGregor, New Rochelle; brother, Joe LaPorte, Port Orange; sister, Barbara Quantota, Brooklyn, N.Y.; and seven grandchildren.

MICANOPY — Mary Lize Payton, 63, a self-employed child care giver, died Friday, Oct. 27, 2000, in Gainesville.
Mrs. Payton was a native and a lifelong resident of Micanopy. She was Baptist.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Payton-Beard.
Survivors include her husband, Wesley Payton Jr.; daughter, Shirley Payton; son, Wesley E. Payton Sr., all of Micanopy; sisters, Geraldine Miller, Micanopy and Gloria Buggs and Dalphine Galloway, both of Houston; and brothers, Burnett Patterson Jr., Eugene Patterson, Robert Lee Patterson and Talmar Patterson, all of Micanopy.

Raymond H. Pioch, 81
OCALA — Raymond H. Pioch, 81, a retired pension clerk, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000.
A native of Detroit, he moved here from Royal Oak, Mich. in 1976. Mr. Pioch retired from Chrysler Corp. in Detroit, after 39 years of service. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and the American Legion. Mr. Pioch was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice Pioch, Ocala; sons, Richard Pioch, Sterling Heights, Mich., Dale Pioch, Royal Oak and Bradley Pioch, New Baltimore, Mich.; daughter, Cindy McClellan, Royal Oak; sister, Ruth Downey, Ocala; and two grandchildren.

OCALA — Mary Louise Stewart Skinner, 71, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000, at Sylvia's Hospice House.
A native of Elkmont, Ala., she moved here from Kentucky in 1955. Mrs. Skinner was a member of First Christian Church of Ocala.
She was preceded in death by her husband, T.C. Skinner.
Survivors include her daughters, Paula Skinner Hahn, Olathe, Kan., and Kay Skinner Ringgold, Ocala; son, John L. Skinner, Ocala; brother, Charles Stewart; three grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy T. Tuggerson; son, Albert Tuggerson Jr.; daughters, Chrystal Tuggerson and Ellen Tuggerson, all of Citra; sisters, Bettye L. Elmore, Miami, Priscilla Cabarris, Citra, the Rev. A native of Madison, she moved here from Jacksonville in 1986. Mrs. Vernon was a member of Hartville Baptist Church, Jacksonville and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary, Salt Springs.
Survivors include her husband, James Vernon, Salt Springs; son, John L. Dryden, Dunnellon; daughter, Charlotte Rodman, Middleburg; sisters, Alice Humphrey, Madison, and Ethel Barefoot, Columbus, Ga.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Yager; and twin grandsons, Gerald and Gary.

A native of Marseilles, Ill., he moved here from Utica, Ill., in 1997. Mr. Blaine was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Mary Ann Blaine, Ocala; daughters, Brenda Backos, Ottawa, Ill., and Gloria Maltas and Michele Rehor, both of Utica; sons, Randolph Blaine, Jacksonville, and Mark Blaine, Chicago; brother, John Blaine, Watertown, Ohio; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha; and daughter, Caryl Anderson.

A native of Meriwether County, Ga., she moved here from Jacksonville. Mrs. Johns was a former pastor's secretary and an active member of First Baptist Church of Ocala, and past president of Pilot Club of Ocala.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louie James Johns; and sons, Jerry Wayne Johns and Victor Randall Johns.
Survivors include her daughters, Pamela Johns Miller, Jan Johns and Linda Johns, all of Ocala; sister, Opal Moore, Williston; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Ricardo Medina; and a daughter, Patricia Medina.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Medina, Ocala; daughters, Miriam Roderman, Ridgefield, Conn., and Pamela Medina, Winter Park; sons, Ivan Medina, Ocala, Alex Medina, Baltimore, Gustavo Medina, Jamaica, N.Y., and Ronald Medina, Boston; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
