CITRUS SPRINGS — H. Naomi Vanderlinden, 91, a retired seamstress, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000.
A native of New Sharon, Iowa, she moved here from Aurora, Ill., 21 years ago. Mrs.. Vanderlinden was a member of the Fourth Street Methodist Church, Aurora and Community Congregational Christian Church, Citrus Springs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Vanderlinden; and a son, Jack E. Vanderlinden.
Survivors include her son, Robert Van Klaveren, Scottsdale, Ariz.; daughter, Autumn Spears, Citrus Springs; brothers, James Sarver, Texarkana, Texas, Merril Sarver and Edward Sarver, both of Oskaloosa, Iowa; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

BELLEVIEW — Sylvia Coon, 86, a retired seamstress, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2000, at Estelle's Hospice House.
A native of New York City, she moved here from Co-op City, N.Y., seven years ago. Mrs. Coon was Jewish.
Survivors include her sons, Howard Coon, Belleview, and Leonard Coon, Summerfield; sister, Doris Rosenthal, Sunshine; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

John T. Hilberg, 89
OCALA — John T. Hilberg, 89, a retired architect, died Monday, Oct. 30, 2000, at Estelle's Hospice House.
A native of Northampton, Pa., he moved here in 1977. Mr. Hilberg was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church; Marion Oaks Fire Advisory Board; Marion Oaks Volunteer Eyes; Architectural Review Board; Southwest Florida Water Management; director of Marion Oaks Civic Association; and chairman of the Deed Restriction Committee, Marion Oaks.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Kirsten Hilberg, Ocala; stepdaughter, Martha Brauer, Bradenton; stepson, Jeff Williams, Decatur, Ill.; and five step-grandchildren.

OCALA — Margie R. McGuire, 71, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000, at Charis Center, Leesburg.
A native of Decatur County, Ga., she moved here from Cairo, Ga., in 1967. Mrs. McGuire was a charter member of Ocala West Church of the Nazarene.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie McGuire Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Beverly Jones, Wildwood; brother, Leonard Richards, Cairo; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

DERBY, Kan. — Fred Pagels, 79, a retired vice president of the mortgage department for Fidelity National Bank, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000.
A native of Washington Crossing, N.J., he was a former resident of Ocala. Mr. Pagels was a lay minister at First United Methodist Church in New Jersey.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Pagels, Derby; sons, Robbin Pagels, Mulvane, Kan., and Karl Pagels, Freehold, N.J.; sister, Ruth Jadlocki, Levittown, Pa.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

CITRUS SPRINGS — John L. Winters, 75, a retired telecommunications manager, died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000, at his home.
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., he moved here from Farmingdale, N.Y., 12 years ago. Mr. Winters was a member of Citrus County Gun Club, Sons of the American Revolution and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was Catholic.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois M. Winters.
Survivors include his sons, Lawrence Winters, New York, Brian Winters, Leesburg, Va., and Jason Winters, Lake Grove, N.Y.; daughter, Lori Cudone, Charleston, Ill.; brother, Neil Winters, New York; and seven grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth T. Holender, Dunedin.

OPELIKA, Ala. — Walter C. Credle Jr., 77, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000, at his home.
Mr. Credle was a native of Marion County. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
He is survived by daughters, Bonita O'Hara and Susan Farrulla, Opelika; son, Walter C. Credle III, Opelika; and five grandchildren.

DUNNELLON — Sarah S. King, 90, a retired business owner, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2000, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Enterprise, Ala., she moved here from Louisiana in 1948. Mrs. King was owner and manager of the first florist shop in Dunnellon. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Dunnellon, where she taught Sunday school for 41 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee King; and a grandson, Lee Hargett.
Survivors include his daughter, Cornelia Melin, Fort McCoy, Eleanor Fairchild, Winnsboro, Texas, and Bobby Ann Thornton, San Marcos, Texas; brother, Mercer Scherrer, DeFuniak Springs; sisters, Elizabeth Eberhart, Seneca, S.C., Mildred Andrews and Bonnie Cason, DeFuniak Springs; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

A native of LaValle, Wis., he moved here from Madison, Wis., in 1988. Mr. Markin was a member of Spirit Life Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Charles Nesbitt; and a son, Alfred Ray Nesbitt.

OCALA — Carma C. Poehlman, 69, a retired dispatcher for Ocala Police Department, died Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Penfield, Ill., she moved here from Michigan 44 years ago. Mrs. Poehlman was also a former co-owner of Tri-Am R.V. Center. She was member of Fort King Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Russ Poehlman, Ocala; daughters, Sherry Perkins and Holly Williams, both of Ocala; sons, Rex E. Poehlman, Ormond Beach, and Ladd G. Poehlman and Kim L. DUNNELLON — Fred William Pluebell, 64, a retired nuclear engineer, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000, in Topeka, Kan.
A native of Wheeling, W.Va., he moved to Central Florida from Takoma Park, Md., 33 years ago. Mr. Pluebell was formerly employed by Electric Power Systems of Orlando and retired from Florida Power Corporation. He was a member of Victory Christian Center Church, Dunnellon.
He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Pluebell.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Dorothy Pluebell, Dunnellon; son, Fred W. Pluebell Jr., Plano, Texas; daughters, Kathleen Pluebell and Shirley Ann Ice, both of Dunnellon; and six grandchildren.
