OCALA — Viola B. Lawson, 101, a retired typist for the U.S. government, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000.
A native of Covington, Ky., she moved to Ocala from Waynesville, Ohio, 20 years ago. Mrs. Lawson was Methodist. She was a member of Druid Hills Methodist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Don L. Lawson, Ocala, Richard E. Lawson, St. Marys, Ohio; daughter, Shirley A. Veith, Leesburg; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Ernestine C. Lockett, 84
OCALA — Ernestine Coleman Lockett, 84, a homemaker, died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2000, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of East Lake Weir, and a lifelong resident of Marion County, Mrs. Lockett was a member of Greater Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Brown, Tampa, Joe Ann Langley, Ocala, and Ellen Williams, Fort Valley, Ga.; son, Edward Mitchell; and sister, Sarah Gardon, both of Ocala; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Anna B. Marston, 94
OCALA — Anna Belle Marston, 94, a retired registered nurse, died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2000.
Mrs. Marston was a native of Nova Scotia, Canada, a resident of Ocala since 1971, and a resident of Taunton, Mass. She was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church; Immaculate Hart of Mary Roman Catholic Church; Ladies Auxiliary Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4493; New York and New Jersey Clubs; Silver Springs Shores Swingers Club; and Liberty Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary of Neptune.
Mrs. Marston was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Marston in 1991; and son, Charles Marston in 1962.
Survivors include her daughters, Ann Stiles, Oakhurst; Irene F. Malone, Northport, and Joan Marston, Ocala; 15 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Severino Napolitano, 81
OCALA — Severino Napolitano, 81, a retired machinist for New England Carbide and Tool, died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000, at his home.
A native of Portland, Maine, he moved to Ocala from Jacksonville 17 years ago. Mr. Napolitano was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church; Ukulele Club; Kopy Kats; and Coral Group, all of Pine Run, and P.R.O.W.L., (neighborhood watch team).
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Napolitano, Ocala; daughters, Sandra White, Kinnelon, N.J., and Joan Blecharczyk, Pelham, N.H.; six grandchildren; and one grandchild.

Alexander Ozga, 72
OCALA — Alexander Ozga, 72, a retired production manager for Thomas J. Lipton, Inc., died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Cliffside Park, N.J., he moved to Ocala from Flemington, N.J., in 1992. Mr. Ozga was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church; American Chemical Society; Elks Club; Rotary Club; and Polish American Social Club of Beverly Hills. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Clara Ozga, Ocala; daughters, Eileen M. Carey, Denison, Texas, and Deborah A. Ozga, Herndon, Va.; brother, Stanley Ozga, Dumont, N.J.; and two grandchildren.

OCALA — Leroy Pruitt, 89, a retired heavy equipment operator, died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2000, at Palm Garden Rehabilitation Center.
A native of Morgan, Ala., he moved to Ocala from Alabama 60 years ago. Mr. Pruitt was a member of Mt. Carmen Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Elouise Pruitt, Ocala; sons, Johnnie B. Pruitt, Mobile, Ala., Leroy Pruitt Jr., Alexandria, Va., and Rex Pruitt, New York City; daughters, Emma M. John H. Topping Sr., 75
OCALA — John H. Topping Sr., 75, a retired airline security guard, died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000.
A native of Bridgehampton, N.Y., he moved to Ocala from West Palm Beach four years ago. Mr. Topping was Methodist. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Elks Club in Long Island, N.Y., and an ambulance driver for Bridgehampton Fire Department in New York.
Mr. Topping was preceded in death by his son John Topping Jr., in 1968.
Survivors include his sons, Michael Topping, and Thomas Topping, both of Ocala; daughters, Nanci Johnson, Summerfield, Maria Spaulding, Ocala, Linda Topping, Summerfield, and Carol Topping, Southampton, N.Y.; brother, Raymond Topping, Bridgehampton; and four grandchildren.

A native of Washington, D.C., he moved to Ocala from New York in 1985. Mr. Williams was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Silver Springs Shores.
