OCALA — Joseph William Cappel Sr., 85, a retired salesman for Bankers Life of Iowa, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2000, at Estelle's Hospice House.
A native of Peoria, Ill., he moved here from Tampa in 1985. Mr. Cappel was a member of Holy Faith Episcopal Church, Dunnellon.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Cappel, Ocala; son, John Cappel Jr., Sikeston, Mo.; sisters, Frances Johnson, Apopka and Mary Tillotson, Akron, Ohio; brother, Tom Cappel, Sioux Lookout, Ontario; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Ludwig Hausser, 91
OCALA — Ludwig Hausser, 91, a retired cabinet maker for the New Jersey Department of Education, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000, at Sylvia's Hospice House.
A native of the Ukraine, he moved here from Union, N.J., in 1974. Mr. Hausser was a member of Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Hausser, Ocala; and brother, Kamilius Hausser, North Hampton, Mass.

Pearl M. Hill, 79
FLORAL CITY — Pearl M. Hill, 79, retired, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2000.
A native of Philadelphia, she moved here from St. Petersburg in 1977. Mrs. Hill retired from Bealls after 22 years of service. She was a member of New Testament Baptist Church, Floral City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Hill.
Survivors include her sons, Chester Frenn, Hernando, Joseph Frenn, Fort Walton Beach and Michael Ritter, St. Petersburg; daughters, Barbara A. Cooper, Hernando, Janet Gamble, Salinsville, Ohio, Christina Liebermann, St. Petersburg, and Dawn Dexteraze, Seffner; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

CITRUS SPRINGS — John E. Kelly, 81, an owner of Glenarm Electric Company, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2000, at Seven Rivers Community Hospital.
A native of Glenarm, Md., he moved here 24 years ago. Mr. Kelly served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Citrus Springs and belonged to Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Ocala.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Mary E. Kelly, Citrus Springs; sons, Thomas E. Kelly, Baldwin, Md., W. Rodney Kelly, Loveland, Colo., Lanny L. Kelly and Dean E. Kelly, both of Glenarm; daughter, Alice Gines, White Hall, Md.; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

A native of Athens, Mich., she moved here from Portage, Mich., in 1987. Mrs. Knetsch was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Ladies Auxiliary, Post 4209 and Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge 459.

OCALA — Roy T. Penn Jr., 73, a retired cemetery supervisor for the city of Delray Beach, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2000, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Pleasantville, N.J., he moved here from Delray Beach in 1987. Mr. Penn was a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
