REDDICK — Lillie Mae Tyson, 90, a homemaker, died Friday, Dec. 22, 2000, at New Horizon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Tyson was a native and lifelong resident of Reddick. She was a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her sons, James Brown, Reddick and O.B. Brown, Fort Pierce.

OCALA — Virgil H. Westmoreland, 77, a retired truck driver and salesman, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2000, at his home.
A native of Tom's Creek, Va., he moved here from East Detroit 12 years ago. Mr. Westmoreland served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was of Eckankar faith.

A native of Trenton, N.J., she moved here from St. Petersburg in 1974. Mrs. Bowman a member of Order of the Eastern Star. She was Protestant.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, William K. HOMOSASSA — Merriam C. Breese, 87, a retired beautician, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2000, under the care of Hospice of Citrus County and her caretaker, Henry Brachmaier.
A native of Scioto County, Ohio, she moved here from Anderson, Ind., 12 years ago. Mrs. Breese was Catholic.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Breese.

BEVERLY HILLS — Frederick W. Collatz, 67, retired, died Monday, Dec. 25, 2000, in Biloxi, Miss.
A native of Blue Island, Ill., he moved here from Dolton, Ill., in 1993. Mr. Collatz was a member of Beverly Hills Association, American Legion and United Residents of Beverly Hills. He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Collatz was Lutheran.

MIAMI — Martha English, 95, a retired restaurant cook, died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2000.
A native of Ocklawaha, she moved to Miami from Marion County one year ago. Mrs. English was a member of St. Paul's Missionary Baptist Church.

DUNNELLON — Richard Walton Ferguson, 64, a retired superintendent for Florida Power and Light in Miami, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2000.
A native of Miami, he moved here from South Carolina 10 years ago. Mr. Ferguson was a member of Rainbow Springs Golf Club and OWLS Flying Club. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Bernard Friedman, 89, a retired accountant, died Friday, Dec. 22, 2000.
A native of Illinois, he was a longtime resident of Ocala. Mr. Friedman was a violinist and board member of Central Florida Symphony; founder of Marion Ostomy Society Support Group; and an active member of Temple D'Nai Darom, all of Ocala.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Friedman.
Survivors include his daughter, Ilene Shoub-Schulstad, California; son, Richard Sichelle, Chicago; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

A native of Park Ridge, N.J., he moved here in 1983. Mr. Hall was a member of Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks, Park Ridge. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Mr. McGowan was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church; Sheet Metal Workers Union, Local 28, New York City; Loyal Order of the Moose; and past president of Oak Run Anglers Club. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
