OCALA — Raymond E. Teuton, 66, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2000, in Cordele, Ga.
Mr. Teuton was a native and a lifelong resident of Ocala.
Survivors include his wife, Charlene A. Teuton, Ocala; stepdaughter, Tina Vaughan, Cordele and Vicki Cunningham, Canon City, Colo.; and stepsons, Edward Plettner, Cooks, Mich., and Rich and Plettner, Sarasota.

Kitty M. Witt, 52
OCALA — Kitty M. Witt, 52, a retired secretary, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2000.
A native of Wheeling, W.Va., she moved here nine years ago. Mrs. Witt was a former member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Elm Grove, W.Va. She was Methodist.
Survivors include her son, Christopher S. Witt, Boynton Beach; daughters, Teri L. Turner, Ocala and Michele L. Dunn, Clarksburg, W.Va.; brothers, Paul Nolan, Longwood and William Nolan, Wheeling; sister, Delores Blosser, Ocala; and four grandchildren.

Walter R. Bachman, 77
CITRUS SPRINGS — Walter R. Bachman, 77, a retired maintenance mechanic, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2000.
A native of New York City, he moved to Citrus Springs from Smithtown, N.Y., 13 years ago. Mr. Bachman was a member of Hope Lutheran Evangelical Church; and Penno Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4864. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Margaret D. Bachman, Citrus Springs; sons, Walter R. Bachman Jr., Honolulu, and Robert J. Bachman, St. James, New York; sisters, Clara Simon, Bradenton, Florence D'Esposito, and Anna Minikel, both of New York; and three grandchildren.

Wilbur R. Burns, 85
HERNANDO — Wilbur R. Burns, 85, a retired concrete foreman, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2000.
A native of Bowling Green, he moved to Hernando from Miami 20 years ago. He was Baptist.
Mr. Burns was preceded in death by his wife, Marquette K. Burns in 1998.
Survivors include his brothers, Robert Burns, Spring Hill, and Winifer Burns, Homestead.

OCALA — James A. Carty, 89, a farmer and musician, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2000.
A native of New York City, he moved to Ocala from New York in 1951.
Survivors include his wife, Jacquelyn Carty, Ocala; sons, James C. Oliver, Springwater, N.Y., George Carty, James Carty Jr., and Timothy Carty, all of Ocala; brother, Alwyn Carty, Ruskin; sister, Rose M. Foso, Dade City; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Felicia Dewey, 89
OCALA — Felicia Dewey, 89, a retired garment worker, died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2000, at Harborside Health Care.
A native of Philadelphia, she moved to Ocala from Pennsylvania three years ago. Mrs. Dewey was Catholic.
Survivors include her daughter, Delores Graebner, Ocala.

Paul M. Flanigan, 79
MACON, Ga. — Paul Martin Flanigan, 79, a retired machinist for Philadelphia Naval Yard, died Monday, Dec. 25, 2000.
A native of Philadelphia, he moved to Macon from Belleview three months ago. Mr. Flanigan was a member of Ocklawaha United Methodist Church in Belleview. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Mr. Flanigan was preceded in death by his wife, Lelliam D. Flanigan.
Survivors include his daughter, Pat Black, Macon; sons, Paul M. Flanigan Jr., Trevose, Pa., Dennis Flanigan, and Raymond Flanigan, both of Mullica Hill, N.J.; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Sarah C. Fowler, 72
OCALA — Sarah Collins Fowler, 72, a retired registered nurse and volunteer for Hospice of Marion County, died Friday, Dec. 29, 2000, at Estelle's Hospice House.
A native of Lexington, Ky., she moved to Ocala from Chicago 14 years ago. Mrs. Fowler was Catholic.
Survivors include her sons, William C. Fowler, Mount Prospect, Ill., and Michael H. Fowler, Flower Mound, Texas; several sisters; and five grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Marion County.

Paul J. Horvath, 92
SUMMERFIELD — Paul J. Horvath, 92, a retired steam fitter, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2000, at Sylvia's Hospice House.
A native of Highland Park, N.J., he moved to Summerfield from Hawthorne two years ago. Mr. Horvath was a member of Sunset Harbor Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Horvath, Summerfield; stepdaughters, Leslie Spurrell, Summerfield, and Rita Griffith, Key Largo; stepsons, James McGilvary, Jupiter, and Andrew McGilvary, Tucson, Ariz.; brother, Michael Horvath, Highland Park, N.J.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Marion County or Good News Ministry, c/o First Baptist Church in Belleview.

Lillian D McCord, 80
OCALA — Lilliam D. McCord, 80, a retired legal secretary for Long Island State Park Commission, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2000, at her home.
A native of New York City, she moved to Ocala from Lindenhurst, N.Y., in 1977. Mrs. McCord was a member of Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church.
Survivors include her son, Douglas McCord, Ocala; daughter, Debra McCord, New York; sister, Helen Eisenberg, Ocala; brothers, Mickey McCaffery, Long Island, N.Y., and Dennis McCaffery, Secaucus, N.J.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Howard L. Noll, 80
OCALA — Howard L. Noll, 80, a self-employed chiropractor, died Friday, Dec. 29, 2000, at Sylvia's Hospice House.
A native of New York City, he moved to Ocala from Milford, Conn., in 1986. Mr. Noll was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Mary Taylor Memorial Methodist Church in Milford; Masonic Order; and Scottish Rites; Shriner in Ocala; and Pyramid Shriners in Connecticut.
Survivors include his wife, Jean B. Noll, Ocala; sons, Frederick H. Noll, Woodstock Valley, Conn., and William W. Noll, Mission Viejo, Calif.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Everett W. Shepherd, 71
GAINESVILLE — Everett W. Shepherd, 71, a welder for Defoe Shipyard in Bay City, Mich., died Friday, Dec. 26, 2000, at Veterans Administration Hospital.
Mr. Shepherd was a native of Clayton, Ill., and a resident of Gainesville. He was a member of Peace United Methodist Church in Nashville, Mich.; American Legion; and a volunteer for the Commission on Aging in Hastings, Mich.
Survivors include his wife, Beulah Yaste, Nashville; sons, Harry Shepherd, Shady Hills, and Frank Shepherd, West Branch, Mich.; daughters, Dena Williams, Bay City, Mich., Lois Quinan, West Branch, Mich., Linda Boyer, New Market, Ala., Peggy Arnold, Reddick, Pat Graves, Ellwood, Ind., and Sherrie Passmore, Hastings; brother, Richard Shepherd, Clayton; and 16 grandchildren.

DUNNELLON — Dean Bruce Skipper, 44, a mechanic, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2000.
A native of Miami, he moved to Dunnellon from California three months ago.
Survivors include his parents, Jack and Peggy Skipper, both of Dunnellon; sons, Dean Skipper Jr., and Deven Skipper, both of Millersburg, Ohio; daughter, Saron Skipper, Millersburg; sisters, Susan Reid, Everglades City, and Karen Balough, Citrus Springs.

OCALA — James Roy Ward, 79, a retired barber, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2000, at Harborside Health Care of Ocala.
A native of Loudon County, Tenn., he moved to Ocala from Tennessee in 1964. Mr. Ward was Christian. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Joan T. Ward, Ocala; and brother, Milton Ward, Tryon, N.C.

OCALA — Veronica E. Westbrook, 84, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2000 in Toronto.
