ORANGE LAKE — N. Pauline Chambers, 76, a retired surgical technician and licensed practical nurse for the Veterans Administration, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2000, at Sylvia's Hospice House.
A native of Grayson, Ky., Mrs. Chambers was a lifetime resident of Marion County. She attended McIntosh United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Virginia Williams, McIntosh, and Cathy Tallent, Franklin, N.C.; sons, James B. Chambers Sr., Ocala, and Alan Chambers, Citra; sister, Bertha Kaylor, Allegan, Mich.;14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Lynnette M. Clem, 71
OCALA — Lynnette M. Clem, 71, a retired secretary for Heath and Rehabilitative Services, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2000, at her residence.
A native of Fond du Lac, Wis., she came here from Peoria, Ill., 32 years ago. Mrs. Clem attended First Assembly of God in Ocala, where she was a member of the Bible study fellowship group.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary Chazal, Ocala, and Christina Kesselring, Melbourne; and four grandchildren.

Roger D. Dubble, 87
INVERNESS — Roger D. Dubble, 87, a retired chemical engineer for Anchor Hocking Glass Corp. in Lancaster, Ohio, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2000.
A native of Columbus, Ohio he came to Inverness from Gulf Breeze 16 years ago. Mr. Dubble was a U.S. Army Signal Corp captain in World War II, a member of Masonic Lodge 57 F&AM and the Royal Arch Masons Chapter 11, both in Lancaster.
He was a past president of Point of Woods Country Club, a past president and district governor of the Floral City Lions Club, and a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Hernando.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Wohlfarth Dubble, in 1989.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy S. Dubble, Inverness; son, Robert L. Dubble, Navarre Beach; daughter, Marilyn Jones, Inglis; sisters, Sylvia Klassen, St. Petersburg, and JoAnn Glatt, Naples; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

John J. Garley, 78
LECANTO — John J. Garley, 78, a retired U.S. Air Force service member and Grumman Aerospace employee, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2000, at Seven Rivers Community Hospital in Crystal River.
A native of Jersey City, N.J., he came to Lecanto from Nevada 11 years ago. Mr. Garley was Catholic and was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans Association.
He was preceded in death by his son John Garley.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Garley, Lecanto; sons, Tom Garley, Las Vegas, Nev., and Patrick Scotti, Picksville, N.Y.; brother, James Garley, Ocean Grove, N.J.; and one grandchild.

OCKLAWAHA — Clarence S. Inman, 83, a retired automotive mechanic, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2000, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Toledo, Ohio, he came to Ocklawaha from Homosassa nine years ago. Mr. Inman was a member of First Baptist Church of Belleview.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Mary L. Inman, Ocklawaha; daughter, Karen J. Hoffman, Tecumseh, Mich.; son, Dale Inman, San Diego; sister, Catherine Craw, Oregon, Ohio; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Mildred B. Lowry, 88
SILVER SPRINGS — Mildred Barnett Lowry, 88, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2000, at Sylvia's House in Ocala.
A native of Jacksonville, she came to Silver Springs more than 20 years ago. Mrs. Lowry was Baptist. She was a member of North Jacksonville Woman's Club, a member of the Garden Club of Jacksonville, past president of the Parent Teacher Association in North Shore, and a former Pink Lady at Munroe Regional Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lowry.
Survivors include her son, James Lowry, Ocala; daughter, June Bowers Kunnemann, Ocala; sister, Martha Schnabl, Jacksonville; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

John J. Marshall Jr., 78
BELLEVIEW — John J. "Jack" Marshall, 78, a retired manufacture representative for the auto industry and owner of Marshall Associates, died Thursday, Dec. 21, 2000, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
He was a native of Peabody, Mass. Mr. Marshall served in the National Guard during World War II and was a member of the Thompson Club and the Salem Municipal Golf Course.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Veragua Council 76 in Salem and the Masonic Lodge Cairo Temple in Vermont.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Estelle M. Marshall; sons, Philip Marshall, Beverly, Mass., and John J. Marshall III, Shrewsbury, Mass.; daughters, Joyce Walsh, Salem, Mass., and Sandra Appleton, Newbury, Mass.; sisters, Evelyn Lourenco and Ida Maria, both of Peabody; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A native of Miami, he came here in 1976. Mr. McWhorter was Baptist. Mr. McWhorter was a member of the Elks Lodge No. 2730 in Silver Springs Shores and the Classic Car Club.

OCKLAWAHA — Linda Rae Sizemore, 55, an office clerk for Harbour View Elementary School and former teacher's aide and attendance clerk at Stanton-Weirsdale Elementary School, died Friday, Dec. 29, 2000, at her residence.
A native of Warren, Ohio, she came to Ocklawaha in 1982. Mrs. Sizemore was a member of the South Marion Democrat Club and the Harbour View Elementary Parent Teacher Association.

SUMMERFIELD — Fran Benner, 68, a retired secretary for Department of Children and Families, died Friday, Dec. 29, 2000, at her home.
A native of New York City, she moved here from Edison, N.J., 24 years ago. Mrs. Benner was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Fruitland Park; active member of Parkview Players; and past member of Belleview Lioness Club.

Mr. Carpentier was a native of Buffalo, N.Y. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church; Beverly Hills Recreation Association; and a past trustee and advocate for the Knights of Columbus Council 6168, Lecanto.

A native of Mindenmines, Mo., he moved here from Tampa seven years ago. Mr. Chancellor was a member of Community Christian Congregational Church, Citrus Springs. He served in the Navy during the Korean War.
