INVERNESS — Granval Leroy Morrow, 68, a retired power plant engineer, died Friday, Jan. 19, 2001.
A native of Tamaroa, Ill., he came to Inverness from Newark, Del., 26 years ago. Mr. Morrow was a 20-year service member of the U.S. Navy, Protestant, and a member of the Retired Officers Association. He also was a member of Twisted Oaks Country Club.
Survivors include his sons, Jeffrey S. Morrow, Indianapolis, Joel S. Morrow, Waldorf, Md., and Jason S. Morrow, Auburn, Ala.; daughter, Sandra J. Perrin, Peachtree, Ga.; brother, Robert Morrow, DuQuion, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

CRYSTAL RIVER — Linda D. Norfleet, 52, died Friday, Jan. 19, 2001.
A native of Clearwater, she came to Crystal River from Brooksville two years ago. Mrs. Norfleet was a member of Crystal River United Methodist Church.

James M. Osowiecki, 32
MORRISTON — James M. Osowiecki, 32, died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2001, in Gainesville.
A native of Bristol, Conn., he came to Morriston from Maine 10 years ago. Mr. Osowiecki was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Williston, the Knights of Columbus, an Eagle Scout, and a member of the Boy Scouts of America. He was awarded the Presidential Academic Achievement Award signed by President Reagan in 1986. He also was a volunteer worker for the Gulf Hammock and Yankeetown fire departments.
Survivors include his father, Alexander F. Osowiecki III, mother Patricia J. P. Osowiecki, and brother, Alexander F. Osowiecki IV, all of Morriston.

INVERNESS — Carolann M. Powell, 61, a certified nursing assistant, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001.
A native of Patchogue, N.Y., she came to Inverness from Chandler, N.C., six years ago. Mrs. Powell was Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Othello Powell, Fredericksburg, Va.; stepson, O.R. DEBARY — Marie Bridgit Sasnoff, 93, a retired seamstress, died Thursday, Jan. 18 2001.
A native of Benld, Ill., she came to DeBary from Lecanto. Mrs. Sasnoff was Catholic, and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include her brother, Wally Simkus, New Port Richey; and sister, Annie Jacobs, Belleville, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Sasnoff.

OCALA — David Hayes Brigance, 85, a former business owner, died Monday, Jan. 22, 2001.
A native of Nashville, Tenn., he moved here from Glenn Ellyn, Ill., 25 years ago. Mr. Brigance was the former owner and operator of Brigance Chevrolet in Oak Park, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Brigance, and a daughter, Kathleen Kielbon.
Survivors include his daughters, Joan K. Markovich, Ocala, Carole Koenig, Port Angles, Wash., and Lisa Kielbon, Little Rock, Ark.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

OCALA — Willie H. Camper, 81, a laborer, died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2001, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Gainesville.
A native of Sylvester, Ga., he moved here 70 years ago. Mr. Camper was a member of Covenant Missionary Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Mae H. Camper, Ocala; and sister, Laura Oliver, Ocala.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph D. Hurley, on Nov. 1, 1997.

Marvin C. Jones, 83
OCALA — Marvin C. Jones, 83, retired salesman and administrator, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2001, at Sylvia's Hospice House.
A native of Yeddo, Ind., he moved here from Indianapolis 24 years ago. Mr. Jones retired from HiGrade Meat Packing Co. in Detroit, after 23 years of service. He was a member of First Congregational Church of Christ. Mr. Jones served in the U.S. Army of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred P. Jones, Ocala; daughter, Mary Lou Richardson, Overland Park, Kan.; son, Billy Jones, Ocala; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

MORRISTON — Nestor Legler, 67, a retired iron worker, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001, at Nature Coast Hospital.
A native of Tampa, he moved here 20 years ago. Mr. Legler was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
He is survived by his brother, Hugo H. Legler, Morriston; and sister, Selma A. Holman, Cedar City, Utah.

A native of Ithaca, N.Y., she moved here in 1992. Mrs. Spadaro was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Auxiliary, Retired Teachers Association and Dunnellon Community Choir. She was Episcopalian.
