INGLIS — Domenick F. Bomentre, 75, a retired sheet metal worker, died Monday, Feb. 12, 2001, in Lake City.
A native of Bristol, Pa., he moved here from Blairstown, N.J., in 1993. Mr. Bomentre was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post No. 8698, Inglis; St. Ann Catholic Church; lifetime and past commander of American Legion; Post No. 258.. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Jeannette Bomentre.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Bomentre, Inglis; daughter, Annette Griffen, Philadelphia; brothers, Frank Bomentre, California, Palmer Bomentre, Nevada, Louis Bomentre, Florida, Anthony Bomentre, Arizona and Thomas Bomentre, Pennsylvania; sisters, Marie Bomentre, Pennsylvania and Delores DiNatale, New Jersey; and many grandchildren.

Jessie C. Braddock, 84
MCINTOSH — Jessie C. Braddock, 84, a retired manager for Blue Bell, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, in Gainesville.
A native of Aylor, Va., she moved here from Madison, Va., in 1969. Mrs. Braddock was a member of McIntosh United Methodist Church. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, crocheting and traveling.
Survivors include her son, Danny Rosser, McIntosh; sisters, Bertha Temple and Bessie Fredickson, both of Coos Bay, Ore., Hazel Graymire, McIntosh; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Viola E. Coonan, 94
BELLEVIEW -- Viola E. Coonan, 94, a retired telephone operator, died Monday, Feb. 12, 2001, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Roslyn, N.Y., she moved here from North Carolina in 1977. Mrs. Coonan was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter No. 22, Belleview. She was Episcopalian.
Survivors include her daughter, Margaret E. Greene, Belleview; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to charities of choice.

Robert D. DeLaughter, 71
DUNNELLON — Robert D. DeLaughter, 71, a retired real estate agent, died Monday, Feb. 12, 2001.
A native of McAlester, Okla., he moved here from Sarasota 12 years ago. Mr. DeLaughter was a member of Carey B. Fish Masonic Lodge. He served in U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Louise DeLaughter, Dunnellon; sons, Robert B. DeLaughter, Howey-in-the-Hills, and Kevin DeLaughter, Latham, N.Y.; daughters, Kathleen Cromie, Port Jervis, N.Y., and Karen Williams, Westbrookville, N.Y.; brother, Fredrick DeLaughter, Independence, Mo.; and seven grandchildren.

Jeffrey M. Held, 41
OCKLAWAHA — Jeffrey Michael Held, 41, an automotive body paint and repairman, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of St. Petersburg, he moved here from Cleveland, Tenn., two years ago. Mr. Held was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his mother, Karen Holmes, Ocklawaha; sons, Kristopher M. Held and Jason M. Held, both of Ocklawaha; and sisters, Patricia Fredericks, Ocklawaha, Terry M. Harrington and Laura Thompson, both of Belleview.

John S. Hohn, 75
LADY LAKE — John S. Hohn, 75, a retired engineer for Florida East Coast Railroad, died Friday, Feb. 9, 2001, in Leesburg.
A native of Indiana, he moved here from Longboat Key four years ago. Mr. Hohn served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II and the Korean War. He was a Masonic Lodge member.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn C. Hohn, Lady Lake; daughters, Jody Longbrake, Belleview, and Theresa Hohn, Indianapolis; stepdaughters, Victoria Robinson, Ocala, Evelyn C. Leist, Clemson, S.C., and Sharon Heintz, Bradenton; son, William E. Hohn, Indianapolis; stepsons, Carles D. Reedy, Westport, Conn., and James Reedy, Bradenton; and several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Mary V. Leeward, 85
OCALA — Mary Virginia Leeward, 85, a homemaker, died Friday, Feb. 9, 2001.
A native of Brackenridge, Pa., she moved here from Coral Gables in 1962. Mrs. Leeward was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert J. Leeward.
Survivors include her son, James Leeward, Ocala; daughters, Judi Koselka, Ocala, and Suzanne Yingling, Chicora, Pa.; brother, John Rieger, Edgewater Park, N.J.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Henry N. Lord Sr., 71
OCALA — Henry Noel Lord Sr., 71, a retired mechanic for Armstrong Rubber for 30 years, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2001.
A native of Newport, Vt., he moved here from Campobello, S.C., a short time ago. Mr. Lord was a member of Altergate Methodist Church, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Lord, Ocala; sons, Henry Lord Jr., Campobello, Robert Lord, West Haven, Conn., and Bruce Lord, Greenville, S.C.; daughter, Emilia Borkowski, Southington, S.C.; brothers, Rosaire Lord, Retherfordton, N.C., and Anthony Lord, Wilmington, Del; sisters, Theresa Loncot, Ocala and Rita Ostrander, Lowell, Mass.; and 11 grandchildren.

Marion W. Main, 70
OCALA — Marion W. Main, 70, a retired secretary, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001, at Sylvia's Hospice House.
A native of Bridgeport, Conn., she moved here from DeLand in 1953. Mrs. Main was a member of Ocala West United Methodist Church and Inverness Does Drove No. 232.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Chester J. Main Jr., Ocala; son, Chester J. Main III, Ocala; daughters, Cynthia Clark, DeLand, Melanie Hensley, Inverness and Leslie Manning, Staten Island, N.Y.; father, Loren J. Whitney, DeLand; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Leslie McGonigal, 54
OCALA — Leslie "Les" McGonigal, 54, a teacher at North Marion High School, died Monday, Feb. 12, 2001, in Leesburg.
A native of Washington, D.C., he moved here from Palm Bay 14 years ago. Mr. McGonigal was member of First United Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon S. McGonigal, Ocala; daughter, Jennifer L. Turner, Groveland; and sons, Keith H. McGonigal, San Diego, Kevin H. McGonigal, Ocala and Michael S. Perry, Kenmore, Wash.

BEVERLY HILLS — Erich Ostwald Sr., 83, a retired sales engineer, died Monday, Feb. 12, 2001, in Inverness.
A native of Queens, N.Y., he moved here from Lynbrook, N.Y., in 1982. Mr. Ostwald was member of Masonic Lodge No. 1106, Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 696, and Scottish Rite Valley. He was Lutheran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma L. Ostwald.
Survivors include his son, Erich Ostwald Jr., Eldersburg, Md.; and two grandchildren.

Roy L. Sellers, 80
BELLEVIEW — Roy L. Sellers, 80, a retired heavy equipment operator in the road construction industry, died Monday, Feb. 12, 2001.
A native of Electra, he was a lifelong resident of Marion County. Mr. Sellers was a member of Belleview First Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Sellers enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, A. Marie Sellers, Belleview; stepdaughter, Joy O'Hair, Salt Springs; stepsons, Marvin Martin, Ocala and Jimmy Becraft, Salt Springs; and seven step-grandchildren.

OCALA — Betty A. Wright, 65, a retired file clerk for the state of Michigan, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2001, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, she moved here from Flint, Mich., five years ago.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Wright, Ocala; brother, Joe Hanks, Ocala.
