GAINESVILLE — Edith Manning Lamberth, 96, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2001.
A native of Higley, she moved to Gainesville from Ocala in 1949. Mrs. Lamberth was a member of East Side Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, June Wiggins, Panama City, Shirley Smith, Ocala and Cheryl Hilliard, Gainesville; sisters, Estelle Miller and Pearl Webb, both of Ocala; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

OCALA — Dorothea R. Newman, 80, a retired technician for the University of Buffalo, died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2001, at TimberRidge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
A native of Bradford, Pa., she moved here from Buffalo, N.Y., in 1982.
Survivors include her nephew, Richard Heller, Warren, Pa.; and two grandchildren.

DUNNELLON — Etelka M. Paull, 96, a retired school teacher, died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2001, in Crystal River.
A native of New York, she moved here from New Port Richey in 1978. Mrs. Paull was a member of Dunnellon Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her son, Phillip Paull, Madison, Wis.; daughter, Nancy Alexander, Mansfield, Pa.; and five grandchildren.

Mrs. Pennington was a native of Pickford, Mich.

OCALA — Charlie E. Porter Jr., 61, a technician in Munroe Regional Medical Center's Pathology Department, died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2001, in Gulf Hammock.
A native of Winston-Salem, N.C., he moved here 19 years ago. Mr. Porter was a member of Agape Baptist Church of Ocala and belonged to an antique car club. He served in the U.S. Navy.

SILVER SPRINGS — Gordon Lee Burnett, 71, a retired produce manager for Publix Super Markets Inc., died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2001, at Surrey Place Convalescent Center.
A native of Grand Island, Neb., he moved here from Lincoln, Neb., in 1960. Mr. Burnett enjoyed golfing and baking. He was a Nebraska Cornhusker fan.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jonelle L. "Jody" Weitzner, and a grandchild.

A native of Broadwell, Ill., she moved here from Villa Park, Ill., in 1975. Mrs. Carey retired from American Airlines, after 19 years of service. She was an Eucharistic minister at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church.

LADY LAKE — R.C. Hamilton, 77, a retired transportation supervisor for the Sugar Cane Grower's Co-Op of Florida, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2001.
A native of Savannah, Ga., he moved here from Palm Beach County in 1998. Mr. Hamilton was a member of the Scottish Rites and the Elks in The Villages of Lady Lake. He was a charter member of Masonic Lodge in The Villages. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Lorraine Hamilton, Lady Lake; son, John Hamilton, Fernandina Beach; daughters, Charlene Hubbard, Brandon, Kathleen Yarborough, Fayetteville, N.C., and Gwen Espigh, Glades County; sister, Lila Bonds, Merritt Island; 16 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John K. Ingebretsen, who died on April 1, 1987.
