OCALA — Stanley E. Collins, 37, a cook for Waffle House, died Monday, Feb. 26, 2001, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Atlanta, he moved here two months ago. Mr. Collins was Baptist.
Survivors include his brothers, Steven Collins, Ocala and Scott Collins, Arkansas; sisters, Kathy Jones and Joan Jones, both of Woodstock, Ga.; and his partner, Brian Erb.

Robert H. Edwards Sr., 89
FLORAL CITY — Robert H. Edwards Sr., 89, a retired chief boatswain, died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001.
A native of Chicago, he moved here from Cape May, N.J., 15 years ago. Mr. Edwards retired from the U.S. Coast Guard, after 20 years of service. He was a member of Scottish Rite Consistory, Royal Arch Masons, Shrine Club and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Edwards was Protestant.
He was preceded in death by son, Robert H. Edwards Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Mary B. Edwards, Floral City; stepsons, William Stewart Jr., Jon Stewart, James Stewart and Joseph Stewart, all of Wilimington, Del.; daughter, Alice Carter, Merritt Island; brother, Richard Edwards, Bradenton; sister, LeeEtte Maruna, Fort Lauderdale; halfsister, Hazel Wiediman, Washington; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

WILLISTON — Bennie W. Fesmire, 56, a horse trainer, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2001, at Florida Doctor's Memorial Hospital in Perry.
A native of Elk City, Okla., he moved here from Oklahoma 1970. Mr. Fesmire was a member First Baptist Church of Williston.
Survivors include his son, Flynt Fesmire, Williston; daughter, Tana Andrews, Mayo; brothers, Jimmy Fesmire and Charles Fesmire, both of Hammon, Okla.; and two grandchildren.

CITRA — Jeanette Fleischman, 87, a homemaker, died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001, at New Horizon Rehabilitation Center.
A native of Perth Amboy, N.J., she moved here from Boca Raton in 1991.

OCALA — Ruth C. Griggs, 87, a retired teacher's aide for Marion County School Board, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2001, at Marion House.
Mrs. Griggs was a native of West Berlin, Mass. She was a member of Ocklawaha Bridge Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Jerrie Shepard, Ocklawaha; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

BEVERLY HILLS — D. Ralph Gluesing, 86, a farmer, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2001.
A native of Clinton County, Iowa, he was a winter resident from Janesville, Wis. Mr. Gluesing attended Beverly Hills Community Church and was a life member of Loyal Order of the Moose.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Faye N. Gluesing, Beverly Hills; son, Dean Gluesing, Greendale, Wis.; daughters, Patsy Hlavacek, Burlington, Wis., Eunice Kirkman, Hernando and Phyllis Harp, Naples; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

HANNIBAL, Mo. — Mildred Hansmeier, 87, a retired farmer, died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001, at Levering Regional Healthcare Center.
A native of Morgan County, Ill., she moved to Hannibal from Belleview in 1993.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry E. Hansmeier, who died on Jan. 15, 1985.

A native of Beteverwagting, Guyana, she moved here from Queens, N.Y., in 1994. Mrs. Harris was an active member of Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Silver Springs Shores.

A native of Mango, he moved here from Tampa 18 years ago. Mr. Russell was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a member of National Rifle Association and was a Mason.

OCALA — Ray T. Stemper, 74, owner of Ray T. Stemper and Associates, died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2001, at Sylvia's Hospice House.
A native of Milwaukee, he moved here three years ago. Mr. Stemper was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Jolene "Jo" Stemper, Ocala.
