OCALA — Margaretha H. Hartman, 90, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of St. Louis, she moved to Ocala 12 years ago. Mrs. Hartman was of the United Evangelical faith.
Survivors include her husband, LeRoy Hartman, Ocala; daughters, Marlene Hartman, Gainesville, Jacquelyn Noschese, Ocala, and Margaret Peterson, Lindenhurst, Ill.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Merlin R. Lampson, 67
DUNNELLON — Merlin Russell Lampson, 67, retired from the Air Force, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Davenport, Iowa, he moved to Dunnellon from Fort Lauderdale in 1989. Mr. Lampson served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam. He was Catholic.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Lampson, Dunnellon; daughter, Selma Refae, St. Augustine; sisters, Norine Rice and Mary Hall, both of Davenport; and brother, Jack Lampson, California.

Edgar Leedy, 71
CITRA — Edgar Leedy, 71, a retired explosives expert, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Pikeville, Ky., he moved to Citra from Kentucky in 1960. Mr. Leedy served in the U.S. Army and was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include his wife, Edith Leedy, Citra; daughters, Linda Sullivan, Dunnellon, and Karen Craig, Greenville; son, Eddie Leedy, Fort McCoy; sisters, Edith Nelson, Rosie Maynard and Dorothy Price, all of Ocala; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

William P. McCadden Jr., 60
TAMPA — William Patrick McCadden Jr., an agent for Tampa Bay Downs Race Track, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001.
Mr. McCadden, a former resident of Ocala, moved to Tampa in 1982. He was a third generation thoroughbred horseman, involved in all aspects of the business, being a jockey, trainer, racing official and outrider.
Survivors include his former wife, Joyce McCadden, Ocala; son, McLean P. McCadden, Ocala; daughter, Michelle Christmas, Ocala; mother, Edna E. Benjamin, Kingston, Ga.; brother, Michael A. McCadden, Kingston; sisters, Sandra Bailey and Debbie Overton, both of Kingston; and one grandchild.

CRYSTAL RIVER — Thomas M. Redmond, 84, a retired assistant director from the Port of Miami, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, at Seven Rivers Community Hospital in Crystal River.
A native of Chicago, he moved to Crystal River from Miami 19 years ago. Mr. Redmond was a member of West Citrus Elks Lodge No. 2693 in Homosassa and American Legion Post No. 155 in Crystal River. He was a member of St. Scholastica Catholic Church in Lecanto and served on the Board of Directors of Day Star Life center in Crystal River.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Redmond, Crystal River; daughters, Randie McDuffie, Jacksonville, Kathi Redmond, Orlando, and Joy Barton, Warsaw, Ind.; sons, Patrick Redmond, Franklin, Ind., and John Redmond, Cleveland; and eight grandchildren.

OCKLAWAHA — Raymond Francis Richardson, 74, a bus driver, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2001.
A native of Standish, Maine, he moved to Ocklawaha from West Baldwin, Maine, in 1994. Mr. Richardson was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Earline Richardson, Ocklawaha; son, Ricky Richardson Jr., New York; daughter, Julia Hall, Elmira, N.Y.; and brother, Robert Richardson, Enfield, Conn.

Adam H. Soboleski, 83
BEVERLY HILLS — Adam H. Soboleski, 83, a retired chemical formulator, died Thursday, March 1, 2001, at his residence.
A native of Ansonia, Conn., he moved to Beverly Hills from Naugatuck, Conn., 14 years ago. Mr. Soboleski worked for Uniroyal Corp. for 30 years and held three patents. He was a member of the Third Order of Saint Francis; a former member of the Knights of Columbus; and a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Soboleski.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Frances M. Soboleski, Beverly Hills; daughters, Diane Ferrara, Bethany, Conn., Carol A. Chmielewski, Pownal, Vt., Christina B. Scalva, Phoenix, and Frances Barnett, Floral City; sisters, Teddy Soboleski and Joanna Soboleski, both of Long Island, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

A native of Washington, Iowa, he moved here from Ashe County, N.C., in 1991. Mr. Stierwalt was a member of Ocala West United Methodist Church and Ocala Rotary Club. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman "Jack" Posey.

A native of Hoboken, N.J., he moved here from East Brunswick, N.J., in 1992. Mr. Tremblay served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle rider and horseback rider.
