OCALA — Joseph A. Barros, 77, a retired restaurant manager, died Monday, March 5, 2001, at Marion House Health Care Center.
A native of Boston, he moved to Ocala from New Bedford, Mass., in 1987. Mr. Barros was Catholic. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Barros, Ocala; son, Stephen Barros, Boston; stepsons, Peter Santos, Ocala, Steve Santos, Seminole, and Robert Barros, Ocala; sister, Mary De Andrade, South Carver, Mass.; and five grandchildren.

OCALA — George Raymond Critchfield, 72, a retired salesman for Panasonic, died Sunday, March 4, 2001, at Estelle's Hospice House.
A native of Akron, Ohio, he moved to Ocala from Orlando seven years ago. Mr. Critchfield was Christian. He was member of Flyers Club, On Top of the World; American Legion; and charter member of Mokanna Masonic Lodge. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley R. Critchfield, Ocala; and sister, Anna M. Cain, Holiday.

SUMMERFIELD — Dicky M. Daniels, 52, a work leader for Dayco Corp., died Tuesday, March 6, 2001, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Eastman, Ga., he moved to Summerfield from Augusta, Ga., 23 years ago. Mr. Daniels was Baptist and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his mother, Orene B. Daniels, Summerfield; daughter, Stephanie Irby, Wrens, Ga.; son, Christopher M. Daniels, Riddleville, Ga.; sister, Dale Wigginton, Ocala; and three grandchildren.

OCALA — McDuffey Gaines, 83, a retired truck driver for Ocala Lumber Sales, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001.
Mr. Gaines was a native of Kendrick. Mr. Gaines was Methodist. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his daughter, Willie J. Kinsler, Ocala; sister, Jewel M. Roberts, Savannah, Ga.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

OCALA — Jeannette "Nettie" Hartlieb, 86, a retired music teacher, died Monday, March 5, 2001, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of East Syracuse, N.Y., she was a winter resident from Cassadaga, N.Y., for many years. Mrs. Hartlieb was a member of Chautauqua County Teacher's Association and a past member of a garden club. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, traveling and playing the piano.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Clarence L. Hartlieb, Ocala; son, Dale W. Hartlieb, Gowanda, N.Y.; brother, Lester White, Glens Falls, N.Y.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

OCALA — Lester C. Miller, 82, a retired mechanical engineer, died Monday, March 5, 2001, at Oak Hill Hospital in Springfield.
A native of Antigo, Wis., he moved to Ocala from Sussex, Wis., in 1982. Mr. Miller was a member of Marion Oaks Presbyterian Church; and worked for E.R. Wagner in Milwaukee for 45 years. He enjoyed fishing and sports cars.
Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his first wife, Viola Miller.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine P. Miller, Las Vegas; daughter, Susan E. Crowe, Ocala; son, Richard L. Miller, Winter Springs; brother, Glen Miller, Sullivan, Wis.; and four grandchildren.

SUMMERFIELD — Wesley D. Seguine, 62, a retired truck driver for the Coca-Cola Co., died Sunday, March 4, 2001, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Toledo, he moved here from Ottawa Lake, Mich., one year ago. He was a member of Masonic Lodge (F&AM); 4-H leader for 15 years in Ottawa Lake; and National Historic Truck Society.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Mary Seguine, Summerfield; stepmother, Delphia Seguine, Jacksonville; daughters, Gloria Schroeder, Blissfield, Mich., and Sapphire Seguine, Summerfield; sister, Adenna Holsinger, Springfield, Mo.; brothers, Martin Seguine, Racine, Wis., and Ray Seguine, Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

OCALA — James W. Wade, 87, a retired business manager for Western Branch Diesel Co., died Friday, March 2, 2001, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Glen Jean, W.Va., he moved here from Portsmouth, Va., in 1975. Mr. Wade was a member of St. George Anglican Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Wade.
He is survived by his daughter, Sammie Wade, Ocala; and one grandchild.

A native of St. Paul, Minn., he moved here from Cold Spring, Minn., eight years ago. Mr. Wallraff was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America. He attended St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church in Belleview. Mr. Wallraff was a U.S. Army veteran.
