OCALA — David Sanzeni, 81, retired business owner, died Sunday, March 4, 2001, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Danbury, Conn., he moved here in 1976. Mr. Sanzeni was owner and operator of Peter Pan Diner in Danbury. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Helen T. Sanzeni, Ocala; son, Kenneth A. Sanzeni, Danbury; stepdaughters, Patti-Jo Acri, Danbury and Sanbi Novella, Ocala; and five grandchildren.

Alfred L. Simmons Sr. 79
OCALA — Alfred L. "Punch" Simmons Sr., 79, a retired school teacher, died Saturday, March 3, 2001, at his home.
Mr. Simmons was a native of Reddick. He was a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Omega Psi Phi fraternity, NAACP, Club Charmont and a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Mr. Simmons served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was the recipient of the American Service, World War II Victory and Good Conduct medals.
Survivors include his wife, Edna G. Simmons, Ocala; son, Alfred L. Simmons Jr., Daytona Beach; and daughters, Norma K. Simmons, West Palm Beach and Chandra J. Simmons, Jacksonville.

OCALA — Morris E. Turfryer, 82, a retired house painter, died Tuesday, March 6, 2001.
A native of Amsterdam, Holland, he moved here from Miami in 1987. Mr. Turfryer was Christian.
Survivors include his wife, Renee Turfryer, Ocala; son, Gary Moore, Dixon, Calif.; daughter, Lisa Hoover, Fletcher, N.C.; and five grandchildren.

OCALA — Clifford A. Watkins, 72, a retired steel worker, died Tuesday, March 6, 2001, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Port Byron, N.Y., he moved here in 1970. Mrs. Watkins was a member of First United Methodist Church and Steel Workers Union No. 1277.
Survivors include his daughters, Diane Northrup and Susanne James, both of Belleview; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Dan J. Wyatt, 73
SPRING HILL — Dan J. Wyatt, 73, a retired punch press operator, died Tuesday, March 6, 2001, at home.
A native of Phenix City, Ala., he moved to Spring Hill from Jacksonville in 1981. Mr. Wyatt served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was Baptist.
Survivors include his sons, Sydney Wyatt, Dothan, Ala., Donald Wyatt, Spring Hill, Michael Wyatt, Wahneta, Don Wyatt Jr. and Jimmy Wyatt, both of Ocala; daughters, Diana Miller, Daytona Beach, Judy Miller, Hudson and Betty J. Wyatt, Montgomery, Ala.; and nine grandchildren.

BEVERLY HILLS — Louise K. Avedisian, 89, a homemaker, died Thursday, March 8, 2001, at her home.
A native of New York City, she moved here from Fort Lee, N.J., in 1975. Mrs. Avedisian was a member of Beverly Hills Fire Department's Ladies Auxiliary and Beverly Hills Community Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Karnig E. Avedisian, who died on Aug. 17, 1993.
She is survived by her son, Robert Avedisian, Citrus Springs; and two grandchildren.

A native of Boston, he moved here from New Bedford, Mass., in 1987. Mr. Barros was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was Catholic.

A native of Lumberton, Miss., she moved here from Ormond Beach two years ago. Mrs. Baxley was a member of First Baptist Church of Belleview. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution.

A native of Canada, she moved here from Upton, Mass., in 2000. Mrs. Brozeau was Catholic.
Survivors include her son, David Brozeau, Rochester, N.H.; daughters, Mary E. Marcantonio, Ocala and Gail Mathers, Tennessee; brother, Arthur Cote, Upton; sisters, Myrill Brochu, Upton, Dot Benoit and Lillian Benoit, both of Florida; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A native of Lawrence, N.Y., she moved here from Long Island, N.Y., 10 years ago. Mrs. Cavanagh was formerly employed by American Home Products.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Cavanagh.
Survivors include her son, John "Tippy" Cavanagh, Marco Island; brother, Joseph Bowler Jr., Hilton Head, S.C.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A native of Gouverneur, N.Y., she moved here from Odgensburg, N.Y., in 1983. Mrs. McBurney retired from Corning Glass Co., after 30 years of service. She enjoyed gardening and canoeing. Mrs. McBurney was Episcopalian.

A native of Falling Rock, W.Va., she moved here from Alum Creek, W.Va., 20 years ago.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Phillip P. McCartney, who died on June 30, 1988.
