DUNNELLON — Edna A. Shea, 66, a retired buyer for the U.S. Government Exchange, died Sunday, March 18, 2001, at Sylvia's Hospice House.
A native of Castle Eaton, England, she moved here from Portsmouth, N.H., three years ago. Mrs. Shea was Catholic.
She was preceded in death by her son, John P. Shea.
Survivors include her husband, John F. Shea, Ocala; daughter, Stacy Shea, New Castle, N.H.; and four grandchildren.

Maurice A. Wardwell, 95
INVERNESS — Maurice Atwood Wardwell, 95, a retired farmer, died Monday, March 19, 2001, in Inverness.
A native of Bridgewater, Vt., he moved here from Proctor, Vt., six years ago. Mr. Wardwell was Methodist.
He was preceded in death by his son, Maurice W. Wardwell.
Survivors include his daughter, Mary Bullis, Inverness; brother, Arthur Wardwell, Jacksonville; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Frank K. West Jr., 71
OCALA — Frank Kenneth West Jr., 71, a retired lieutenant colonel for the U.S. Marine Corps, died Monday, March 19, 2001, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Pittsburgh, he moved here from West Palm Beach one year ago. Mr. West was member of Scottish Rite; Retired Officers Association, Ocala; Quiet Birdmen; noble of Amara Shrine Temple; and past master and member of Bykota Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Patty B. West, Ocala; daughter, Lynne Evers, Long Beach, N.C.; son, Frank K. West III, Woodstock, Ga.; and one grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to Angel Flight of South Florida, 21521 Woodchuck Court, Boca Raton, FL, 33428.

Hattie L. Bradley, 90
LOWELL — Hattie Lee Bradley, 90, a homemaker, died Thursday, March 15, 2001.
A native of Citra, she was a lifelong resident of Marion County. Mrs. Bradley was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Doretha G. Williams, Jacksonville; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Betty S. Feller, 73
OCALA — Betty S. Feller, 73, a retired guidance counselor, died Tuesday, March 20, 2001, at her home.
native of Williston, she was a longtime resident of Ocala. Mrs. Feller was a member of Daughters of the Confederacy, American Veterans Auxiliary, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She was Episcopalian.
Survivors include her husband, Don Feller, Ocala; mother, Juanita Aspinwall, Ocala; daughter, Sandra Ellinger, Fort Lauderdale; son, Key M. Sargent Jr., Ocala; and three grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.

Charles B. Hicks, 58
OCALA — Charles B. Hicks, 58, a retired skilled trades supervisor for General Motors, died Monday, March 19, 2001.
A native of Lynch, Ky., he moved here from Taylor, Mich., in 1991. Mr. Hicks retired from General Motors after 30 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Hicks, Ocala; sons, Jimmy C. Hicks, Fort Campbell, Ky., and Timothy A. Hicks, Spring Hill; daughter, Susan E. Hoffman, Ocala; brothers, Raymond Hicks, White Lake, Mich., Jerry Hicks, Detroit, Maynard Hicks and William Hicks, both of Lake Wales; sisters, Katheryn Clay, Lynch and Barbara Dunn, Eddystone, Pa.; and five grandchildren.

Thomas B. Johnson, 85
OCALA — Thomas B. Johnson, 85, a retired window washer, died Monday, March 19, 2001.
A native of Lumber City, Ga., he moved here from Bronx, N.Y., in 1997. Mr. Johnson was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors include his wife, Etheleen Johnson, Ocala; son, Thomas G. Johnson, Bronx; stepsons, Willie McCullough, Rockaway, N.J., Joseph McCullough, Spring Valley, N.Y., and Oscar McCullough, Asheboro, N.C.; daughter, Jennell Johnson, Cathedral City, Calif.; stepdaughter, Mary Bowman, Bronx; brother, Lendy Johnson, Lakehurst, N.J.; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Eleanor Leffingwell, 86
MACCLENNY — Eleanor Leffingwell, 86, a homemaker, died Wednesday, March 21, 2001.
A native of Oklahoma, she was a former resident of Ocala. Mrs. Leffingwell was Baptist. She enjoyed writing music and poetry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Leffingwell Sr.; and son, Phillip Leffingwell Jr.
Survivors include her daughters, Mollie Nobles, Macclenny and Nancy Radcliffe, Jacksonville; brothers, Jesse Neighbors, Salem, Ore., and Donald Neighbors, Choctaw, Okla.; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

OCALA — Junora M. Lewis, 70, a retired courier and naval ship systems engineer, died Tuesday, March 20, 2001, at her home.
A native of Manhattan, N.Y., she moved here from Burlington, N.J., 10 years ago. Mrs. Lewis was a member of American Association of Retired Persons and the Civil Service Union.
Survivors include her daughters, Jackie Lewis and Glenda Stevens, both of Brooklyn; son, Craig G. Lewis, Ocala; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

John G. Lutz, 77
INVERNESS — John G. Lutz, 77, a retired maintenance worker for Citrus County Parks and Recreation, died Tuesday, March 20, 2001, in Inverness.
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., he moved here 31 years ago. Mr. Lutz was a member of Leroy Rooks Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4252. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Mr. Lutz was Catholic.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen C. Lutz, Inverness; and son, Gary S. Lutz, Inverness.

Iva B. Norvelle, 89
OCALA — Iva B. Norvelle, 89, a retired assistant manager for Sears, Roebuck and Co.'s catalog department , died Tuesday, March 20, 2001, at her home.
A native of Unicoi, Tenn., she moved here from Kingsport, Tenn., in 1973. Mrs. Norvelle was of Central Christian Church of Ocala. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, arts and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Norvelle.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara D. Norvelle, Ocala and Nancy E. Johnson, Kingsport; sister, Stella McMackin, Kingsport; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Lynn H. Perry, 70
OCKLAWAHA — Lynn H. Perry, 70, retired, died Sunday, March 18, 2001, at his home.
A native of Bovina Center, N.Y., he moved here from Melbourne in 1972. Mr. Perry retired from the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Perry was Lutheran.
He was preceded in death by a son, Steve Perry.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Perry, Ocklawaha; daughter, Sheraine McKenzie, Ocala; son, Haris Perry, Melbourne; sister, Shirley Sparling, Walton, N.Y.; 14 grandchildren; and five stepchildren.

CITRUS SPRINGS — Irma Nagy Reed, 79, a retired office manager for Edward E. Bray Co., died Tuesday, March 20, 2001.
A native of Fairfield, Conn., she moved here from Newport News, Va., in 1981. Mrs. Reed was a member of Community Congregational Christian Church of Citrus Springs, associate member of Korean War Veterans, Citrus Chapter No. 192, and past senior vice president and life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary Post No. 4864 in Citrus Springs.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Benjamin A. Reed, Citrus Springs; son, Jon J. Reed, Newport News; brother, Julius Nagy, Connecticut; sister, Bertha Lilva, Connecticut; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Johnnie Riley, 73
REDDICK — Johnnie Riley, 73, a night watchman in the equine industry, died Monday, March 19, 2001.
Mr. Riley was a native and lifelong resident of Fairfield. He was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Riley was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his mother, Sarah Kinsler, Fairfield; daughter, Johnnie Mae Brown, Fairfield; sons, Billy Riley, Boardman and John Austin, Ocala; brother, Daniel McKever, Wichita, Kan.; sisters, Janie Glover, Fairfield and Eddie Roberts, Rochester, N.Y.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Wilbert R. Taylor, 81
TALLAHASSEE — Wilbert Robert Taylor, 81, a retired automotive technician for Florida Department of General Services, died Friday, March 16, 2001, at Veteran's Administration Hospital in Lake City.
A native of Ocala, he moved to Tallahassee in 1945. Mr. Taylor was an active member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth B. Taylor, Tallahassee; sons, Robert W. Taylor, Hosea R. Baulkmon, Reginald Taylor and Theopholous Taylor, all of Tallahassee; daughter, Sandra T. Anderson, Ocala; brothers, Clarence Taylor, Ocala, Theodore "Douglas" Taylor, Fort Lauderdale, Calvin Taylor and Sherman Taylor Jr., both of Miami; sisters, Vera T. Rogers, Miami, Almeta T. Davis and Mary T. Woolbright, both of Ocala; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
