WINTER GARDEN — John F. Lutzen Sr., 83, a retired supervisor for G.T.E., died Friday, March 23, 2001.
A native of Hartford, Conn., he moved to Winter Garden from Davenport in 1989. Mr. Lutzen was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of American Legion. He was a deputy sheriff in Morristown, Ill.
Mr. Lutzen was preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis Lutzen; and two sons, David Lutzen and Randall Lutzen; and by one grandchild.

A native of Coldwater, Mich., he was a summer resident of Angola, Ind., and a winter resident of Summerfield for 10 years. Mr. Sanborn was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church; Knights of Columbus in Belleview; Fort Wayne, Ind., Elks Club; Angola Chamber of Commerce; and past president of Angola Rotary Club. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II.

DUNNELLON — Delia D. Benjamin, 94, a retired associate aide for the New York School for the Retarded, died Saturday, March 24, 2001, at Sunshine Gardens Care Center in Ocala.
A native of Blenheim, N.Y., she came to Dunnellon from Stamford, N.Y., in 1982. Mrs. Benjamin was a member of Order of the Eastern Star Holly Chapter 168 and was the oldest member of College Road Baptist Church. She loved baking and cooking.
Survivors include her daughters, Martha B. Mrugalski, Ocala, and Elizabeth M. Scott, Alexandria, Va.; sister, Anna Rockafellow, Hopes Mills, N.C.; seven grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William, and daughter Joan Graci.
