OCALA — Robert H. Kemp, 79, a retired restaurant designer, died Friday, June 15, 2001, at TimberRidge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
A native of Aliquepa, Pa., he moved here from Frederick, Md., in 1990. Mr. Kemp attended Queen of Peace Catholic Church; was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge No. 2356, West Marion; Oak Run Golf Club; and Oak Run Kitchen Band. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Grace Kemp, Ocala; stepdaughter, Christine Handy, Finksburg, Md.; stepsons, George Morrison, Salt Lake City, and David Morrison, Germantown, Md.

HERNANDO — Clarice B. Mills, 85, a homemaker, died Sunday, June 17, 2001, at Life Care Center of Lecanto.
A native of Richmond, Va., she moved to Hernando from Chicago in 1995. Mrs. Mills was Baptist.
She was preceded in death by sons Donald Mills and Terry Mills.
Survivors include her daughters, Patricia M. Burbey, Hernando, and Sandra Kloog, Phoenix; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A native of Winona, W.Va., she moved here from Delray Beach two years ago. Mrs. Mullan was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Mullan, Lady Lake; son, Mark Harrison, Weirsdale; sisters, Bonnie Sanford, Ravenna, Ohio, and Linda Roberts, Lady Lake; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son Paul A. Nelson in 2000.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Allen J. Nelson, Beverly Hills; sons, Allen Nelson, Gurnee, Ill.; daughter, Patricia A. Nelson, Overland Park, Kan.; and sister, Grace Iarrobino, Rancho Santa Fe., Calif.

OCALA — Arnold D. Peterson, 64, a superintendent for Commercial Drywall and Plastering of Ocala, died Friday, June 15, 2001, at home.
A native of White, S.D., he moved here from Moorehead, Minn., 32 years ago. Mr. Peterson served in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Carol A. Peterson, Ocala; sons, Michael D. Peterson and Mark A. Peterson, both of Ocala; sisters, Darlene Sherman, Omaha, Neb., Neola Erickson, Huron, S.D., and Veronica Quissel, Sioux Falls, S.D.; and three grandchildren.

The Rev. Ray Schember, 89
OCALA — Ray Schember, 89, a retired Presbyterian Church minister, died Thursday, June 14, 2001, at Surrey Place Convalescent Center.
A native of Jersey City, N.J., he moved here from Fort Myers in 1991. The Rev. Schember was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Ocala; former Jamaica Church World Service director; and former executive secretary of Jamaican Council of Churches. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Alice Schember.
He is survived by seven nephews and four nieces.

OCALA — Mildred L. Swartz, 90, a homemaker, died Sunday, June 17, 2001, at Surrey Place of Ocala.
A native of Kosciusko County, Ind., she moved here from Clearwater in 1984. Mrs. Swartz was a member of College Road Baptist Church.
Survivors include her brother, Kenneth E. Gable, Warsaw, Ind.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Edward R. Taddia Sr., 82
OCALA — Edward R. Taddia Sr., 82, a retired police officer, died Saturday, June 16, 2001, at University Village Nursing Home in Tampa.
A native of Agawam, Mass., he moved here from Miami 30 years ago. Mr. Taddia retired from the Miami Dade Police department in 1971. He was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council No. 5960. Mr. Taddia served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Taddia, in 2000.
Survivors include his daughter, Dede Hayden, St. Louis; sons, Ed Taddia, Austin, Texas, Lou Taddia and Dan Taddia, both of Tampa; sister, Dorothy Fitzgerald, West Springfield, Mass.; brothers, Donald Taddia, Agawam, and Freddie Taddia, Venice; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

HOMOSASSA — Eugene "Hughie" Thompson, 80, a retired brick mason, died Sunday, June 17, 2001, in Inverness.
A native of Ferndale, Mich., he moved to Homosassa from Detroit in 1986. Mr. Thompson was a member of International Association Operative Plasterers and Cement Masons; Loyal Order of the Moose, Crystal River; and First Baptist Church of Homosassa. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy M. Thompson, Homosassa; sons, Robert L. Thompson, Williamston, Mich., and Larry E. Thompson, Redford, Mich.; sister, Marion R. Woodburn, Phoenix; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A native of New York City, he moved here from Little Falls, N.J., in 1986. Mr. Wieworka was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and American Legion Post No. 0354. Mr. Wieworka served in the U.S. Army Military Police. He enjoyed golfing.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Letitia Wieworka, Ocala; son, John Wieworka Jr., Montville, N.J.; daughter, Mary E. Corbett, Montclair, N.J.; and five grandchildren.

Mr. Frampton was a member of Disabled American Veterans, Scottish Rite Bodies, Order of the Eastern Star, Law Enforcement of America, Sheriff's Association of Florida, and a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Frampton also served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys L. Frampton, Ocala; daughter, Carolyn M. Aznavorian, Hingham, Mass.; and son, Floyd W. Frampton, Tampa.

A native of Saginaw, Mich., he moved here 29 years ago. Mr. Gerard was a member of American Legion Post No. 400. He served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps during World War II. Mr. Gerard was Protestant.

BELLEVIEW — E. Clifford Glenn, 80, a real estate broker, died Friday, June 15, 2001, at Orlando Regional Medical Center.
A native of South Portsmouth, Ky., he moved here from Columbus, Ohio, 20 years ago. Mr. Glenn was also formerly employed as a security guard for Chambrel at Pinecastle. He was Catholic. Mr. Glenn enjoyed traveling and dancing. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He is survived by his daughters, Susan Glenn and Cynthia L. Glenn, both of Blowing Rock, N.C.

Mary E. Gracy, 86
HAWTHORNE — Mary Eda M. Gracy, 86, a retired secretary, died Tuesday, June 19, 2001, at Life Care Center of Ocala.
A native of Dunnellon, she moved to Hawthorne one year ago. Mrs. Gracy retired from Florida Power Corp. She was also formerly employed as a medical receptionist for Dr. Larry Hughes. Mrs. Gracy was an active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, member of Dunnellon Women's Club and American Legion Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Gracy Sr., who died on April 4, 1977.
She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Molnar, Ocala; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A native of Kings Mountain, N.C., he moved here 47 years ago. Mr. Herndon was a member of First Baptist Church of Belleview. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and reading.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Herndon, Belleview; daughters, Lee Godwin, Morriston, and Lynn Batelli, Heldon, N.J.; son, Allen H. "Sonny" Herndon Jr., Lincolnton, N.C.; sisters, Sara Simpson, Kings Mountain, Luann Holden, West Palm Beach, Cora Montgomery, Charlotte, N.C.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
