OCALA — Vivian L. Dugas, 96, a retired spinner, died Wednesday, June 20, 2001.
A native of Poland, she moved here from Scitico, Conn., in 1974. Mrs. Dugas was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
Survivors include her son, Robert Dugas, Ocala; sister, Katherine Dubiel, Springfield, Mass., seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Fred R. Espenship, 82
OCALA — Fred R. Espenship, 82, a retired welder and pipefitter for Welders/Pipefitters Union No. 719, died Wednesday, June 20, 2001.
A native of Philadelphia, he moved here from Dania in 1999. Mr. Espenship was a member of the Oak Run Fishing Club. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Diane Espenship.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Espenship, Ocala; son, Fred N. Espenship, Denver; stepdaughters, Carol Bosselman, Oviedo, JoAnne Weinstein, Summerfield and Marilyn Giagrando, Naples; four grandchildren; and seven step-grandchildren.

SUMMERFIELD — Rebecca F. Griffin, 56, a retired administrative assistant, died Wednesday, June 20, 2001, at Surrey Place of Ocala.
A native of Havre, Mont., she moved here from Washington in 1970. Mrs. Griffin was a member of Belleview United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by son, Rodney Griffin.

DUNNELLON — The Rev. Parker Bennett Hayes, 89, a retired minister, died Wednesday, June 20, 2001, at home.
A native of Milmay, N.J., he moved to Florida from Camp Hill, Pa., nine years ago. Rev. Hayes served as director of New Church of Evangelism in Pennsylvania, and associate pastor and senior pastor for First Assembly of God Church, Inverness and founded Christian Life Assembly Church, Ocala.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dorothea Adams.

SALT SPRINGS — William Henry Peyton, 68, a retired master mechanic for the U.S. Air Force, died Tuesday, June 19, 2001, at Munroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala.
Mr. Peyton was a native of Valdosta, Ga. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 10208, Salt Springs; American Legion Post No. 284, Belleview; and a member of Forest Community Church, where he served as a deacon. Mr. Peyton enjoyed fishing, reading the Bible, and studying Greek and Latin.
