OCALA — Jane Sanchez, 74, a homemaker, died Monday, July 2, 2001, at Harborside Healthcare.
Mrs. Sanchez was a native of Lafayette, Ga., and came here from Key West 16 years ago. She was an avid seamstress and musician. Mrs. Sanchez was Baptist.
Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Zackschewski, Ocala, and Paulette Weakley, Marshall, Mich; stepdaughter, Debbie Gordillo, Ocala; sister, Barbara Hinde, Ocklawaha; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

ST. PETERSBURG — James Aaron Sawyer, 63, a retired custodian, died July 1, 2001, in St. Petersburg.
A native of Evinston, he moved to St. Petersburg 15 years ago. He was Baptist.
Survivors include his sisters, Bernice Williams and Carol Williams, both of St. Petersburg; brothers, Benjamin Sawyer, Dover, Del., David Sawyer, Gainesville, Samuel Sawyer, Tallahassee; and three grandchildren.

Elvin K. Twigg, 84
OCALA — Elvin K. Twigg, 84, a retired computer operator, died Monday, July 2, 2001, at home.
Mr. Twigg was a native of Marion County, W.Va. He was a member of the Salvation Army, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4781, National Rifle Association, and National Association of Retired Federal Employees. Mr. Twigg served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Delphia Twigg, Ocala; daughters, Linda Cotter, Bullhead City, Ariz., and Lois Koening, Orefield, Pa.; brother, James Twigg, Phoenix; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by son, Alan F. Twigg.

PITTSBURGH, Pa. — Leta Suzanne Williams, 57, an international cat show judge, died June 24 in Pittsburgh.
A native of Syracuse, N.Y., she moved to Ocala from Mechanicsburg, Penn. 22 years ago. She was Catholic.
Mrs. Williams was a president of the Ocala Cat Club, an international all-breed judge, a member of the Cat Fanciers Association and the Lady Elks Ocala Lodge.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Grznar.

A native of Ocala, he was a longtime resident of Sumter County. Mr. McKinney served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was Mormon.

A native of Mound Valley, Kan., she moved here from Parsons, Kan., in 1964. Mrs. Sowers was Baptist. She enjoyed gardening, and doing needlepoint.

INVERNESS -- Howard Stone, 66, a former bakery owner, died Monday, July 2, 2001.
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., he moved here from Lakewood, N.J., in 1992. Mr. Stone was a member of the Amputee Support Group of Citrus County and Temple Beth Shalom. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

FRUITLAND PARK — Eulaine Rose "Granny" Zipperer, 83, retired, died Wednesday, July 4, 2001.
Mrs. Zipperer was a native of Coleman. She was a retired fruit grader for Herlong Fruit Co., and a retired nurse's aide for Lake Memorial Nursing Home, both located in Leesburg. Mrs. Zipperer was a member of Midway Baptist Church.
