A native of Poland, she moved here from Manville, N.J., in 1973. Mrs. Alferowicz was Catholic.

DUNNELLON — Robert L. Burr, 85, a retired self-employed carpenter, died Thursday, July 12, 2001, at TimberRidge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
A native of Stoneham, Mass., he moved here from Winchester, Mass. Mr. Burr was a member of the American Legion. He served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Burr was Catholic.

MORRISTON — Viola Clark, 92, a homemaker, died Friday, July 13, 2001.
A native of Perth, New Brunswick, Canada, she moved here from Alexandria, Va., in 1995. Mrs. Clark was a member of United Methodist Church in Williston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Clark.
Survivors include her son, Benjamin Clark, Morriston; daughter, Nancy Jones, Falls Church, Va.; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

OCALA — Will V. Galloway, 78, a retired public transportation driver, died Thursday, July 12, 2001, at home.
A native of Opelika, Ala., he moved here from Winthrop, Mass., 23 years ago. Mr. Galloway served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

OCALA — Clarence Marshick, 86, a retired engineer, died Monday, July 9, 2001.
A native of Detroit, he moved here from Novi, Mich., in 1999. Mr. Marshick retired from General Motors Co., after 37 years. He attended First Christian Church of Ocala. Mr. Marshick enjoyed bowling.

WILDWOOD — Harry "June Bug" Mobley Jr., 51, a cook, died Wednesday, July 11, 2001.
A native of Ocala, he moved to Wildwood in 1968. Mr. Mobley was a member of Mount Pisgah African Methodist Episcopal Church in Summerfield.

OCKLAWAHA — Gerald "Jerry" Ritter, 63, an electrical technician for Microdyne Communications Technologies Inc., died Wednesday, July 11, 2001, at home.
A native of Flora, Ill., he moved here from Columbus, Ohio, in 1978. Mr. Ritter was a member of Solid Rock Bible Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking. He served in the U.S. Air Force.

OCALA — Leonard Alexander, 67, a thoroughbred owner and trainer, died at his home on Saturday, July 14, 2001.
A native of Omega, Ga., he moved to Ocala in 1949. He was Baptist.
Mr. Alexander was president of the Tampa Bay Downs Horsemen's Benevolent Association and a member of the Florida Thoroughbred Breeders Association.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Avis Alexander, Ocala; son, Alan Alexander, Ocala; sister, Gail Fitzgerald, Lake Park, Ga., and brother the Rev. Robert Alexander, Omega, Ga.

A native of Washington D.C., he lived in Deltona before moving here. Mr. Carroll was Presbyterian and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers Club of America, and of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Washington.

A native of Astoria, N.Y., he came here from Clearwater Beach two months ago. Mr. Livermore was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was Roman Catholic.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Catherine Livermore, Dunnellon; sons, Lewis P. Livermore III, Marblehead, Mass., and Joseph R. Livermore, East Meadow, N.Y.; and daughter, Catherine Walsh, Dunnellon.

A native of New Bedford, Mass., he moved to Summerfield in 1997. Mr. Thornley was a member of the Fish Lumper and Circus Model Builder Associations. He also was a U.S. Army veteran.

A native of Big Run, Pa., he moved to Ocklawaha from Orlando, in 1977. Mr. Wynkoop was Methodist, and a World War II U.S. Navy veteran.
