HOLDER — Marcella Josephine Taflinger, 76, a homemaker, died Monday, July 9, 2001, in Inverness.
A native of Sidney, Ohio, she moved here in 1962. Mrs. Taflinger was a member of Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include her son, Harry F. Taflinger, Hernando; brother, Roger Allen, DeGraff, Ohio; sisters, Eve Elass, Ocala and Creva Thompson, Port St. Joe; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan M. Taflinger, who died on May 26, 1994.

A native of Starke, she moved here four years ago. Mrs. White was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

CITRA — Euriah Colding, 85, a retired laborer, died Saturday, July 14, 2001, at Palm Garden of Ocala.
Mr. Colding was a native and lifelong resident of Citra. He was a member of Willow Plant Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Colding served in the U.S. Army.

A native of Montgomery, Pa., she moved here from Miami in 1962. Mrs. Whipple was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary in Salt Springs. She enjoyed traveling and gardening.

OCALA — Thaddeus Michael Colchiski, 85, a retired math professor, died Monday, July 16, 2001, at his home.
A native of New Castle, Pa., he moved here from Winter Haven in 1965. Mr. Colchiski was a professor at Central Florida Community College for 25 years. He was a member of National Math Professor Association. Mr. Colchiski served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a recipient of the Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts. Mr. Colchiski was Protestant.
