NEW ORLEANS — Minnie Bell Stone, 88, a former manager of Golden Drumstick Restaurant in Ocala, died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2001 in Gretna, La.
A native of Parrott, Ga., she was a long-time resident of Ocala before moving in 1993 to New Orleans. Mrs. Stone was a member of the Wyomina Park Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Kaye Stone Cole, New Orleans; sisters, Jessie Ruth Liddell and Ruby Martin, both of Ocala; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

BELLEVIEW — Betty R. Wallace, 61, a homemaker, died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001 in Belleview.
A native of Salyersville, Ky., she came here from Bumpus Mills, Tenn., in 1998. Mrs. Wallace was Baptist. She was a member of Ocala Ladies of Moose and Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and was an avid bingo player.

OCALA — Bruce A. Beaulieu, 84, a retired sheet metal worker, died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
Born in Chicago, he moved to Ocala from Elmwood Park, Ill., in 1980. Mr. Beaulieu served in the Army during World War II. He was Catholic.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Beatrice Beaulieu, Ocala; his brother, Robert Gottwald, Eagle River, Wis. and six nieces and seven nephews.

Vincent Malcolm Byrnes, 70
BATON ROUGE, La. — Vincent Malcolm Byrnes, 70, a retired political science professor and administrator at Southern University in Baton Rouge, died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2001 at Baton Rouge Medical Center-Bluebonnet.
An Ethel, La., native, Mr. Byrnes served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Army and earned a master's degree from Louisiana State University, a doctorate from Tulane University and post-doctoral certificate from Harvard University. He was Catholic and a member of the Secular Franciscan Order for 45 years. He served as a Eucharistic minister and lector at Immaculate Conception Church in Baton Rouge and at Our Lady of the Assumption.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Christine FitzSimons Byrnes, Ethel, La.; sons, John Byrnes, Ethel, Walton Malcolm Byrnes, Gaithersburg, Md., and Joe Byrnes, Ocala; daughters, Laura Moody, Ethel, Mary Nagendra, New Orleans, Amy Metzel, Leesburg, Va., and Una Anderson, New Orleans; sisters, Anne O'Brien, Ethel, and Mary Peterson, Clinton, La.; and 12 grandchildren.

Born in Philadelphia, he moved to Dunnellon from Keowee Key, S.C., in 1992. Mr. McGahey was an Army Air Corps veteran and member of American Legion of Dunnellon.

OCALA — Terry K. Morrow, 52, a retired human services employee for the State of Florida, died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001.
Born in Yonkers, N.Y., he moved to Ocala from Mt. Pleasant, Mich., in 1989. Mr. Morrow was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and was a Vietnam War veteran. He was Episcopalian.
Survivors include his daughter, Jessica J. Morrow, Denver, Colo.; father, Harold Morrow, Ocala; brothers; Brad Morrow, Ocala, and Harold Morrow Jr., Derry, N.H. and sister; Martha Witcomb, Denver. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Keith Morrow and Randy Morrow.

BEVERLY HILLS — George Benjamin, 82, a retired general contractor, died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2001.
A native of Hainesville, Ill., he moved here from Flint, Mich., in 1999. Mr. Benjamin was a member of Chicago Chapter of 101st Airborne Division Association. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Mr. Benjamin was Protestant.
