OCKLAWAHA — Elsie Parris, 87, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2001, at Integrated Health Services in Sebring.
A native of Gate City, Va., she moved here from Kingsport, Tenn., in 1947. Mrs. Parris was a member of Ocklawaha United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star, Belleview chapter.
Survivors include two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Parris; and son, Wayne Parris.

TALLAHASSEE — James B. Peacock, 75, a worker in the trucking industry, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2001.
A native of Williston, he moved to Tallahassee 15 years ago. Mr. Peacock served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He is survived by a sister, Anabel M. Wainright, Tallahassee.

Henry A. Pohl Jr., 81
OCALA — Henry "Hank" A. Pohl Jr., 81, a retired insurance auditor, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2001, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of New York City, he moved here from Miami in 1991. Mr. Pohl was a member of First Baptist Church of Ocala. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Emily Pohl, Ocala; sons, Hank Pohl, Miami, and John Pohl, Houston; sister, Bertha Hilliard, Asheville, N.C.; and one grandchild.

OCALA — Otha Poole, 72, a retired plumber, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2001, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Poole was a native of Hermitage, Ark. He was a member of Covenant Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Poole served in the U.S. Army.

A native of Custer, Mich., he moved here from Newaygo, Mich., two years ago. Mr. Rathbun was Protestant.

OCALA — Josephine H. Sudol, 84, a retired assembly worker, died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2001, at home.
A native of New Haven, Conn., she moved here from Woodbridge, Conn., in 1980. Mrs. Sudol was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing bingo.
Survivors include her brothers, Stanley Formanski, Wallingford, Conn., Walter Formanski and Henry Formanski, both of East Haven, Conn.; and sisters, Sophie Adams, Cheshire, Conn., Irene Ryszczyk and Antoinette Cavanaugh, both of East Haven.

She is survived by her sister, Sarah Richardson, Bronx, N.Y.

Mrs. McLean was a native of Orlando. She was a 1983 graduate of Lake Weir High School. Mrs. McLean attended Episcopal Church of the Epiphany.

Mr. Pelletier was a native of Westbrook, Maine. He was owner and operator of Indian Campground of Raymond, Maine. Mr. Pelletier was a member of St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.
