OCALA — Phyllis E. Ham, 73, a retired medical laboratory technician, died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2001, at Oakwood Nursing Home.
A native of Wellfleet, Mass., she moved here from Taunton, Mass., in 1961. Mrs. Ham was a member of Ocklawaha Bridge Baptist Church and a former member of Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Ocala National Forest Chapter.
Survivors include her daughters, Cynthia M. Ham, New Port Richey, Rebecca G. Ham and Victoria R. Cooper, both of Ocala; brother, Burt Baker, Silver Springs; sister, Ruth Baker, Silver Springs; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

FLORENCE, S.C. — William Marion Lewis, 75, a retired employee of Seaboard Coastline Railroad, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2001.
A native of Pedro, he moved to Florence from Wildwood in 1997. Mr. Lewis was a member of Pedro Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

A member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Mr. Bevacqua moved to Ocala from Bound Brook, N.J., 11 years ago. He was a World War II veteran who served in the Italian Army. He was Catholic.
