FORT McCOY — Clyde Victor Scott, 82, a retired submarine and airplane designer, died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2001, at Sylvia's Hospice House.
A native of Boyds Mills, Pa., he moved here from New York in 1994. Mr. Scott served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Rotary Club and an active member of Himrod Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ilene Scott, Dundee, N.Y.; sons, David Scott, PennYan, N.Y., Christopher Scott and Josh Scott, both of Dundee; daughter, Laurie Scott, Sacramento, Calif.; sisters, Wilma Bennett, Dunnellon, and Lucille Urban, Binghampton, N.Y.; brother, Melvin Scott, Kissimmee; and four grandchildren.

BELLEVIEW — Jerry H. Cutcher, 61, a carpenter, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2001.
A native of Arley, Ala., he moved here from South Florida seven years ago. Mr. Cutcher was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.

OCALA — William L. Deveau, 66, a retired supervisor, died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2001, at home.
Mr. Deveau was a native of Lowell, Mass. He retired from Reichold Chemicals in Andover, Mass., after 33 years. Mr. Deveau served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., he moved here from New York in 1997. Mr. Glick was a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Society of American Magicians, International Brotherhood of Magic, and Florida Motion Picture and Television Association.

OCALA — Elmer W. Huggler, 83, a retired high school principal, died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2001, at Life Care Center of Ocala.
A native of Johnsonburg, Pa., he moved here from Alexandria, Pa., in 1989. Mr. Huggler retired from Juanita Valley School Board, after 40 years. He was a member of Joy Lutheran Church of Ocala, Royal Arch Masons, and past master of Sandy Lake Masonic Lodge. Mr. Huggler served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his sons, James Huggler, Spring, Texas, and Gerald Huggler, James Creek, Pa.; daughters, Lisabeth Hoffman, Little Rock, Ark., and Amy Garrett, Ocala; brother, Harry Huggler, Buffalo, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A native of Detroit, she moved here from Houston in 1981. Mrs. Garver was an active member of First Presbyterian Church of Ashland, Ky., and First Christian Church of Ocala, a member of Ocala Women's Book Club and a volunteer for the American Red Cross.
