Robert Husfelt, 69
DUNNELLON — Robert "Bob" Husfelt, 69, a retired chemist for DuPont Corp., died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2001, at Seven Rivers Hospital.
A native of Middletown, Del., he moved to Dunnellon 12 years ago from Miramar. Mr. Husfelt was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, an avid reader and fan of the Miami Dolphins. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Dunnellon.
He was preceded in death by a son, Martin D. Husfelt, and daughter, Margaret E. Husfelt.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Margaret C. Husfelt, Dunnellon; son, Jerry T. Husfelt, Dunnellon; brother, William Husfelt, Middletown; sisters, Margaret Parsons, Salisbury, Md., and Catherine Poore, Hacks Point, Md.; and one grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church Building Fund.

Herbert W. Klinker Sr., 88
OCALA — Herbert W. Klinker Sr., 88, a retired sales manager for Prudential Insurance Co. for 18 years, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2001, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of LaSalle, Ill., he moved to Ocala in 1957 from Chicago. Mr. Klinker was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and he was the recipient of the President's Citation Award. He was a charter member and past president of the Silver Springs Lions Club and past president of Ocala Life Underwriters Association. Mr. Klinker was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Edith Klinker, Ocala; sons, Herbert W. Klinker Jr., Mount Dora, and Thomas P. Klinker, Leesburg; and two grandchildren.

Anthony J. Masiello, 83
OCALA — Anthony J. Masiello, 83, a retired policeman, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2001, at Sylvia's Hospice House.
A native of New York City, he moved here from Stony Brook, N.Y., in 1996. Mr. Masiello was a member of 10-13 Retired Police Officers, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4781, Lions Club, and former volunteer for Stony Brook Fire Department. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Gertrude M. Masiello, Ocala; daughter, Anne Ryan, Stony Brook; sisters, Winifred Femiani, Lauderhill, and Theresa Encinosa, Orlando; and three grandchildren.

SILVER SPRINGS — Mary T. Noeker, 78, a homemaker, died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2001, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Maspeth, N.Y., she moved here from Long Island, N.Y., 29 years ago. Mrs. Noeker attended Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, William C. Noeker, Silver Springs; daughters, Marion Zannit, Ocala, and Janet Sears, Port St. Lucie; sons, William J. Noeker, Silver Springs, Robert Noeker, Christmas, and Tom Noeker, Wursboro, N.Y.; brothers, Bernard Hoffman and Oscar Hoffman, both of New York; sisters, Helen Hurley, New York, and Margaret Goff, Florida; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Ray Rowen, 73
THE VILLAGES — Ray Rowen, 73, a retired accountant with Moore Business Forms, died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2001, at Sylvia's Hospice House.
A native of Buffalo, N.Y., he moved to The Villages in 1997 from Tonawanda, N.Y. Mr. Rowen was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church and a member of The Villages softball and bowling leagues.
Survivors include his wife, Bernadette Rowen, The Villages; daughters, Kathleen Falestiny, Ocala, and Kelly Rowen, The Villages; sons, Michael Rowen, Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., and Kenneth Rowen, Clarence, N.Y.; sister, Marie Peehler, Tonawanda; and seven grandchildren.

LECANTO — Mildred M. Wager, 100, a homemaker, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2001, in Lecanto.
A native of Chicago, she moved to Lecanto 19 years ago. She was Lutheran.
She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Haynie, Citrus Springs.

Lillie B. West, 78
BOARDMAN — Lillie Bell West, 78, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2001, in Gainesville.
A native of Okahumpka, she was a lifetime resident of Boardman. Ms. West was Baptist.
Survivors include her daughters, Dorothy Scott, Boardman, Gloria Rochelle, Gainesville, and Mary A. West, Fort Lauderdale; sons, James Bailey, Reddick, Rufus West, Tallahassee, and Terry West, Boardman; brothers, Willie Stokes, Reddick, and Alvin Stokes, Orange Lake; sisters, Ernestine Stokes, Gainesville, and Mildred Gross, Boardman; 22 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Maxine D. Bewley, 78
OCALA — Maxine D. Bewley, 78, retired, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2001, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Hazlehurst, Ga., she moved here from Jacksonville in 1955. Mrs. Bewley retired as an assistant veterans service officer, after 18 years. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church of Anthony and past worthy matron of Order of the Eastern Star in Fort McCoy.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Robert Bewley, Ocala; daughters, Nancy R. Wiley and Tina Dowda, both of Ocala; son, David M. Bewley, St. Petersburg; sisters, Ella V. Eckerd, Starke, June Whelpy, St. Louis, Donna Staub, Jacksonville, and Muri Edmondson, Clayton, Ind.; and brother, Evan Dykes, Plant City.

MORRISTON — James Edward Beard, 72, a retired air traffic controller, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2001, in Williston.
A native of Argyle, he moved here from Jacksonville six years ago. Mr. Beard was a member of North Minister Presbyterian Church. He served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Lillie P. Beard, Morriston; son, Wayne E. Beard, Morriston; brothers, Harold L. Beard, Woodville, and Roy L. Beard, Tallahassee; sister, Helen Whitaker, Tallahassee; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Teddie L. Cox, 73
LECANTO — Teddie Lincoln Cox, 73, a retired bus driver, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2001, at Life Care Center of Citrus County.
A native of Monticello, Ky., he moved here from Clearwater three years ago. Mr. Cox retired from Cincinnati Transit after 25 years. He was a member of the Masons and the Shriners.
Survivors include his daughter, Deborah Cox, Phoenix; sisters, Rovie Cherry, Glendale, Calif., and Gussie Cole, Lexington, Ky.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

OCALA — Vincenza Ehmann, 79, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2001.
A native of Haveastraw, N.Y., she moved here from Norwalk, Conn., in 1986. Mrs. Ehmann attended Grace Brethren Church.
Survivors include her husband, Fred Ehmann, Ocala; sons, John Ehmann, Winter Park, David Ehmann, Ocala, and Peter Dunitz, Norwalk; sisters, Mary Sargent, Roseville, Mich., Emily Delprincipua, Haveastraw, and Clara Dunitz, New York.

Richard C. Ewing, 90
OCALA — Richard C. Ewing, 90, a retired rural carrier for the U.S Postal Service, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2001, at Sylvia's Hospice House.
A native of Middleport, N.Y., he moved here in 1986. Mr. Ewing was a member of Grace Episcopal Church of Ocala and Cataract Masonic Lodge No. 295 of Middleport.
Survivors include his wife, Alice J. Ewing, Ocala; daughters, Kathryn Ward, Issaquah, Wash., and Christine Bullen, North Tonawanda, N.Y.; brother, Robert D. Ewing, No Tonawanda; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

INVERNESS — John A. Klein, 72, a retired foreman, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2001.
A native of Forest Hills, N.Y., he moved here from Long Island, N.Y., 1975. Mr. Klein retired from the Environmental Protection Agency of New York City after 20 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Gay S. Klein, Inverness; daughters, Gale Boyle, New York, Lea Saman and Cindy Eldredge, both of Inverness; sister, Florence Lee, Las Vegas; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

OCKLAWAHA — Lamar R. Lindsey Sr., 78, a retired road and bridge engineer for Orange County, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2001.
A native of Liverpool, La., he moved here from Orlando in 1971. Mr. Lindsey was a member of Apopka Masonic Lodge No. 36, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Loyal Order of the Moose in Ocala. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his daughter, Linda Trivette, Ocala; sons, Lamar R. Lindsey Jr., Chuluota; sister, Betty Jo Peter, Hammond, La.; companion, Dolly Shannon, Ocklawaha; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A native of Chicago, he moved here from Park Forest, Ill., in 1986. Mr. Lowry was a member of Retired Officers Association. He served in the U.S Naval Reserve during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Helen M. Lowry, Ocala; daughter, Barbara Zellan, Mountain Lakes, N.J.; and one grandchild.

Mr. Moffatt was a native of Cambridge, Ohio. He was a member of Central Christian Church and American Legion. Mr. Moffatt served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Gloria A. Moffatt, Ocala; sons, Thomas A. Moffatt Jr., Punta Gorda, and Michael E. Moffatt, Ocala; daughter, Caroline Moffatt, Arkansas; stepsons, Larry Johns, Pennsylvania and Harry Johns, Osceola; sister, Evelyn Branham, Chester, W.Va.; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

SILVER SPRINGS — Raymond A. Nadeau, 86, a retired U.S. Postal Service worker, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2001, at Homestead at Largo Assistant Living.
A native of Haverhill, Mass., he moved here from Miami in 1978. Mr. Nadeau was a member of the American Legion. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Nadeau was Catholic.
Survivors include his daughter, Donna M. Wheeler, Largo; brother, Clarence A. Nadeau, Barefoot Bay; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel I. Nadeau.
