HAWTHORNE — Andrew E. Wimberly, 77, a retired lawn maintenance worker, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2001, at home.
Mr. Wimberly was a native of Orange Springs. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by his sister, Betty Rodriquez, Ocala.

Irvin E. Wooten, 65
SILVER SPRINGS — Irvin "Gene" Eugene Wooten, 65, retired, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2001.
A native of Dunnellon, he was a longtime resident of Marion County. Mr. Wooten retired from the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Fraternal Order of the Eagles. Mr. Wooten was Baptist.
Survivors include his daughters, Wendi Burbage, Silver Springs, and Jean A. Breisch, Dunnellon; son, Patrick Wooten, Ocala; and four grandchildren.

OCALA — Hazel M. Bonham, 92, a retired executive secretary, died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2001, at Marion House.
A native of Terre Haute, Ind., she came here from Oak Park, Ill., in 1983.

OCALA — Joseph Cruz, 71, a retired custodian for the U.S. Postal Service, died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2001.
A native of New York, he came here in 1981. Mr. Cruz was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church.

SHELBY, N.C. — John S. Dampier, 58, a self-employed horticulturist, died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2001, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Dampier was a native of Alachua and a resident of Ocala.

A native of Moweaqua, Ill., she moved to Fort McCoy from Fort Lauderdale in 1977. Mrs. King was Pentecostal.

SILVER SPRINGS — Lenora "Patty" A. Moy, 62, a nurse, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001.
A native of Rainelle, W. Va., she moved to Silver Springs from Summerton, S.C., in 1997. Mrs. Moy was a volunteer for various organizations, including the Ocala Humane Society, and Senior Services Thrift Shop. She was also a volunteer ombudsman for the state of Florida.

SUMMERFIELD — Harold F. Northrup, 78, retired president of Universal Auto Parts, died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2001.
A native of East Berne, N.Y., he moved to Summerfield in 1986. Mr. Northrup was Lutheran and a member of the Kiwanis Club and the Orange Blossom Homeowners Association. He also was a U.S. Army World War II veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Marion Northrup, Summerfield; daughter, Patricia Sherouse, Summerfield; four grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Northrup, and brother, George Northrup.

A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., Mrs. Bleich was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Ladies Auxiliary of the Inverness Moose Lodge and a volunteer member of Crime Watch for the Citrus County Sheriff's Office. She was Jewish.

He was a member of Rainbow Lakes Methodist Church; Telephone Pioneers of America, Ocala chapter; Rainbow Lakes Crime Watch; American Legion Post No. 58, Dunnellon; and East End Volunteer Exempt Fireman's Benevolent Association. Mr. Graeve served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
