BEVERLY HILLS — Albert G. DeWolfe, 88, a retired inventory clerk, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2001, in Lecanto.
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., he moved here from Northport, N.Y., 25 years ago. Mr. DeWolfe served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was Catholic.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Caroline B. DeWolfe, Beverly Hills.

SUMMERFIELD — William J. Posavac, 68, a retired pharmaceutical representative for SmithKline labs, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2001.
Mr. Posavac was a native of Pittsburgh. He was a graduate of Murray State University.

OCALA — Willie Mae Michael Smith, 98, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2001, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Georgia, she moved here 60 years ago. Mrs. Smith was a member of Covenant Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Elmer Smith, Ocala; daughters, Sarah Smith, Ocala, and Gladys William, Miami; and three grandchildren.

CRAWFORDVILLE — Cathryn M. Usherwood, 84, a retired nurse, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2001.
A native of Lincoln, Ill., she moved to Crawfordville five years ago. Mrs. Usherwood retired from nursing after 30 years.
She is survived by her sons, James Usherwood, Tampa, Norman Usherwood Jr., Fort McCoy, and William Usherwood, Crawfordville; sister, Betty Courtwright, Springfield, Ill.; 13 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

SILVER SPRINGS — Jack E. Blankenship, 53, a senior program manager for CH2M Hill Construction Co., died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2001, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Louisville, Ky., he moved to Silver Springs from Colorado a year ago. He was a member of HOG, the Harley Owners Group.
He is survived by his wife, Sheron Blankenship, Silver Springs.

Walter L. Kaylor, 91
OCALA — Walter Lewis Kaylor, 91, a retired chef and restaurateur, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2001, at Sylvia's Hospice House.
A native of Carrollton, Ga., he moved here from Atlanta in 1948. Mr. Kaylor was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, the American Legion and the Masons. He served in the merchant marine in World War II.
Survivors include his daughters, Brenda G. Adolf, Ocala, Barbara E. Walters, Winter Springs; sons, Frank M. Kaylor, Silver Springs, Walter Ron Kaylor, Ocala; sister, Grace Blythe, Christian City, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

DUNNELLON — Maurice "Bud" Lawlor, 68, a retired licensed practical nurse, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2001, at Tampa General Hospital.
A native of Peabody, Mass., he moved here from Newburyport, Mass., in 1980. Mr. Lawlor attended St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose No. 2013 in Crystal River and Elks Lodge of Homosassa.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Norma M. Lawlor, Dunnellon; sons, Steven Makros, George Makros and Christopher Makros, all of Orange Park, Andrew Makros and Michael Makros, both of Citrus Springs, Brian Lawlor, Newburyport, Patrick Lawlor, Ipswich, Mass., Mark Lawlor, Homosassa Springs, and Maurice F. A native of Rockingham County, Va., he was an Ocala winter resident. Mr. Crawford served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II in the Iwo Jima campaign.
